We were visiting the country and needed a pill for our dog so we can go back home. The staff was extremely kind, and thankfully one of them spoke great english! Overall a wonderful and welcoming experience, and we can now continue our travels! Thank you, kindly!

Because my message was inexplicably deleted by the practice, I wanted to post my comment again, as I believe it's important to share this information. We entrusted our young, perfectly healthy, and beloved cat to Dr. A. Thiemeyer for spaying – two days later, she was dead. At the emergency clinic, a severe bacterial infection (rods and cocci) as well as a septic abdomen/massive peritonitis were diagnosed. The attending emergency veterinarian explicitly told us that he hadn't seen such a severe infection and such a dramatic course of events after a spaying procedure in a very long time. Despite resuscitation efforts, our cat could not be saved. We also had to pay €720 for the emergency treatment. The way we were treated after her death deeply disturbed us. The conversation with Dr. A. Thiemeyer was incomprehensible, cold, and devoid of any compassion. No apology, no expression of sympathy, only the statement that, from his perspective, "everything was fine." Despite this tragic turn of events, we were billed in full for the neutering. We not only lost our cat, but also all trust. At a time when you expect compassion and responsibility, we felt abandoned. Not recommended.

Dear Mr. Thiemeyer, Even back when my grandmother still ran her dog breeding operation and grooming salon, you were our absolute trusted veterinarian. For over 30 years, you have cared for us and our furry friends across several generations – from the first puppies to the present day. Always competent, calm, empathetic, and with a sympathetic ear. Thank you for all these years of dedicated care!

We are more than satisfied with Dr. Thiemeyer. Our Old English/American Bulldog had a terribly serious testicular condition. We were able to come in immediately after calling; the staff member on the phone was very friendly and helpful. Of course, a diagnosis couldn't be made right away, as it was just before Christmas 🎄. Dr. Thiemeyer prescribed helpful medication immediately, which almost got our dog through the worst of it. Unfortunately, his testicles swelled up again to an extreme degree. We then went to an emergency clinic where we were told that our dog had cancer and could only receive palliative care. My husband went back to Dr. Thiemeyer immediately after his vacation. Dr. Thiemeyer said he would operate on our dog. He did so, and during a 3.5-hour operation, Dr. Thiemeyer found a huge abscess on our big guy. He removed everything that needed to be removed. If we hadn't gone back to Dr. Thiemeyer, we might have had to have our 8-year-old dog euthanized for no good reason. Of course, Spike isn't out of the woods yet after such a major surgery, but Dr. T gave my dog a real chance. What's more, Dr. T calls us every day to check on him. It's rare to experience such wonderful service. A full 5 stars and a huge thank you, dear Dr. Thiemeyer! 🥰 Highly recommended!!!
