So far, we've only had experience with our young dog during routine checkups and vaccinations. The practice team is very friendly. However, their prices are quite high. July 17, 2023; Our dog had a minor injury that wasn't life-threatening, but still required relatively quick action. A little anesthetic and a saw would have been perfectly sufficient to remove the bone from our dog! But they referred us to the clinic in Otterberg because they were supposedly better equipped and had more experience!? So, they simply accepted that our dog would continue to suffer unnecessarily because they either lacked the qualifications for such a simple task or simply couldn't be bothered. We're no longer using this clinic!
Ok
Our dog apparently has small tumors on his heart, which caused blood in his heart sac and fluid in his abdomen. He had a heart aspiration and received heart medication; now, at 12 years old, he's doing well again. Many thanks to the friendly veterinary team.
Unfortunately, the veterinary assistant today didn't know the dog and didn't even try to get to know him before the examination. She just gave him the vaccination without any introduction. It's a shame, as I've always had good experiences otherwise.
Super friendly vet, great with our dog, and even though it was a holiday, she still came to the practice after making an appointment. We'll gladly come back "normally," and last but not least: we're used to some "great" prices in Berlin, but here the billing is fair and you can't complain about the costs. Big thumbs up!
