Always a pleasure. A pleasant and professional discussion about the animal, lots of new and interesting information. Very caring towards the animal, building trust immediately. Quick help in case of damage, directly or by phone. Thank you. Sincerely, Schmidt V.

Today, October 20, 2025, at the Kerstin Korch Veterinary Practice. Since our dog was very, very ill over the weekend and would have been almost 15 years old, with no chance of recovery, we tried to make an appointment with Ms. Korch, but she turned us down because they didn't have the capacity to give him his final resting place. They told us to come back on Tuesday. It's absolutely outrageous to accommodate us like this. It's a good thing there's another vet who helped us right away; now our darling can rest in peace forever.

If you read the other reviews here, Ms. Korch has no knack for cats and tomcats. Four small cats, 7 weeks old, were brought to her with inflamed eyes. The smallest cat's cornea was already damaged, which was overlooked. Cefinidex medication was only prescribed once a day, even though for acute problems it initially needs to be given every 2 hours, or at least 4-5 times a day. And for damaged corneas, Cefinidex is the wrong medication anyway. And 3. It was recommended to give the cats away now, since most people want small cats. They should never be separated from their mother before 10 weeks. They were always treated for fleas and worms. In summary, they weren't examined properly, the wrong medication and dosage were used, and separation from the mother was recommended too early.

Where do you even begin? Ms. Korch herself seems nice enough and is helpful, but her replacement, the man—I can only urge you from the bottom of my heart—if he's there, leave the practice immediately and go somewhere else. Above all, don't go to him in an emergency! In March, I took my dog there, who was very ill. After he charged me for X-rays and didn't even give me the images, he diagnosed her with an upset stomach despite her symptoms! He sent us home with a vitamin paste and assured us everything was fine! The next day, we had to go to the animal hospital, where acute kidney failure was diagnosed, and the vet said my dog was more dead than alive. Based on the symptoms and a normal examination (eyes, gums, etc.), the doctor should have recognized this immediately and referred me to a clinic! Thank God she survived! It was different with my cat… We went there, and despite describing the symptoms and her current condition, he felt he couldn't make a diagnosis or offer any recommendations. She was given fluids and a nutritional supplement and essentially sent home to die. A few hours later, we found her dead. And apparently, he still couldn't grasp the seriousness of the situation? Then he should stop practicing! The main thing was to squeeze more money out of her instead of honestly stating the facts! I can only sincerely urge you, and I know she's the only vet in Weißwasser, but if he's covering for her—an older man with earrings and gray hair—please turn around immediately if you want your animals to live long lives. I've definitely learned my lesson and will never set foot in that practice again if that man is working there. His assistant, Manu, isn't much better… unfriendly and has terrible manners.
