Last Friday, we had to say goodbye to our Rhodesian Ridgeback, Balu, as he crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The veterinarian at the Kreher & Stamnitz practice was, as always, experienced, calm, empathetic, and full of compassion. Thank you so much for your excellent support during this time. Our thanks also go to the entire practice team for the many years of outstanding care they have provided for our dogs, cats, and chickens.

The vet and practice team were incredibly friendly; we were able to see our dog today just before closing time (which isn't always the case these days) because she wasn't feeling well. We received a warm welcome, a thorough medical history was taken, and they took their time to examine our dog carefully. We are very grateful and can wholeheartedly recommend this practice.

Since our usual vet was unfortunately closed on Saturdays, we had to take our 4-month-old hamster to this practice. He had lost his appetite, his fur was matted under his chin, and both his eyes were closed. We were told they had looked in his mouth, but nothing serious was found; they had simply trimmed his teeth a little and given him vitamins. We didn't receive a clear diagnosis or a detailed explanation. I felt the bill of almost €100 was very high for such a small patient without any apparent diagnosis. Shortly afterward, our usual vet diagnosed him with cheek pouch inflammation. Sadly, our hamster didn't make it. To this day, I wonder if he could have been helped if the inflammation had been detected earlier. Overall, we didn't feel we received good advice and therefore unfortunately cannot recommend this practice.
