Super friendly, super fair prices, perfect in knowledge and action – what more could you want? This veterinary practice is simply perfect, whether for dogs (our Blues) or horses (Draumûr and other horses)!

We would give zero stars if we could. On July 11, 2026, our horse suffered a severe asthma attack with massive respiratory distress. After a subsequent examination by the treating veterinarian, it was determined to be an acute, life-threatening situation. After initially contacting another veterinary practice, we were referred to Mr. Philipp ter Haar for emergency service. After describing the symptoms, he refused to come out. According to my mother, the reason given was allegedly outstanding bills. However, these bills concerned a former boarder, not us. Our own veterinary bills have always been paid in full. My mother also told me that during the phone call, extremely derogatory and disrespectful remarks were made about our horse and our stable. I was not present during the call. Another veterinarian ultimately took over the emergency call and treated our horse. Due to this incident, we have filed a formal complaint with the veterinary association and requested a professional review. This experience has left us deeply disappointed, both personally and professionally.

Unfortunately, we had to use this practice on a Sunday. The two animal hospitals we had previously visited had an average of 65 patients ahead of us. So we called here, and the vet informed us that we could be there in one hour (at 6 p.m.). Absolutely fantastic service. No waiting time for our rather unwell little dog. He received two injections and an antibiotic to take home, and by that same evening he was feeling much better. He wanted to play, he wanted to romp around, he even wanted to eat. Should anything happen again, which we certainly hope won't be the case, we would contact this practice again immediately. Very friendly vet.
