Very friendly doctor, excellent explanation of the diagnosis and treatment options, and despite it being an emergency service, a very fair price... we actually go to a different practice, but I think that might change soon... thank you again

Reliable, patient, and competent. Even with more suspicious horses, there's no problem. In an emergency, someone was there quickly. Edit: Now that I've read a few reviews again and can't really understand the negative ones, I'd like to add something. I've had almost everyone from the practice come for my horses and would have them all come back. I can't understand why people perceive the practice as unsympathetic or accuse them of not being pro-animal. When my foal had an accident at the beginning of the year, two veterinarians came to the emergency room and helped out. Guido called me days later on his afternoon off because I wanted his assessment of the situation and didn't even charge me for it. I felt like everyone was really rooting for me and was sorry that my little one didn't make it. In general, no one seemed unsympathetic or indifferent to me. On the contrary, even before the insemination, the ladies were happy about the success and joked that they were going to be uncles and aunts 😄 I like the relaxed manner each of them brings (sometimes more, sometimes less). You have to consider that as an owner, you have a completely different relationship with the animal, and for the staff, it's their job. If they suffered as much as we owners do every time, it would be almost unbearable 😅 I can't imagine them turning away a sick animal and simply not helping. I think they're fully committed. For one horse I had available, someone from the practice who doesn't normally go out even came when we called because of colic symptoms. When I didn't have a horse trailer with a foal cage but needed one, Guido got one. My pony is a bit wary of men, so Andreas occasionally gave him a treat (when he was with one of the other horses) or let him sniff him in peace. My old vet wouldn't have done that. I haven't had such a good experience at any other practice. I'm particularly aware that it's an expensive business – unfortunately, I'm a regular this year – but who works for free anyway? There are also regulations on how things are billed, and of course, emergency services are more expensive, but I'm glad someone always comes quickly. I didn't feel like I was being ripped off at all. I also went to the old practice building with a young tomcat – there was nothing to complain about there either.

I had to use the emergency services on Tuesday evening and was very well informed in advance about the potential costs. Very important, in my opinion! Unfortunately, it ultimately resulted in euthanasia. We were accompanied very kindly, calmly, and compassionately. We felt very well looked after. Thank you to the attending veterinarian!

Absolutely fantastic! We never thought we'd be in such a situation, but after our little Wanja was spayed, she suddenly became very ill, and we had no idea why. This veterinary practice was on emergency duty on Sunday, and I must say, the vet and her assistant were absolutely top-notch! Many thanks for the super-fast help!
