Reviews
Reliable, patient, and competent. Even with more distrustful horses, there's no problem. In an emergency, someone was there quickly. Edit: Since I've now read a few more reviews and can't really understand the negative ones, I'd like to add something. I've had almost everyone from the practice treat my horses and would use any of them again. I can't understand why people perceive the practice as unempathetic or accuse them of not being pro-animal. When my foal was injured at the beginning of the year, two vets came to the emergency service and helped out. Guido even called me days later on his afternoon off because I wanted his assessment of the situation, and he didn't even charge me. I felt like they were all genuinely invested and sorry that my little one didn't make it. No one seemed unempathetic or indifferent to me in general. On the contrary, even before the insemination, the ladies were delighted with the success and joked that they were going to be an uncle and aunt 😄 I like the easygoing manner that each of them brings (sometimes more, sometimes less). You have to remember that as an owner, you have a completely different relationship with the animal, and for the staff, it's simply their job. If they suffered as much as we owners do every time, it would be unbearable 😅 I simply cannot imagine them turning away a sick animal and not helping. I think they are fully committed. With one horse I had available, someone from the practice who doesn't usually make house calls even came when we called about colic symptoms. When I didn't have a horse trailer with a foal gate but needed one, Guido got one. My pony is a bit wary of the men, so Andreas sometimes gave him a treat (when he was working for one of the other horses) or let him sniff him quietly. My old vet wouldn't have done that. I've never had such a good experience at any other practice. I'm very aware that it's expensive – I've unfortunately become a regular this year – but who works for free? There are also guidelines for how things are billed, and of course, the emergency service is more expensive, but I'm always glad to have someone available quickly. I never felt like I was being ripped off. I also took a young cat to the old practice building – there was absolutely nothing to complain about then either.
I took my dog to Dr. Brüning's veterinary clinic today for a heart ultrasound and I'm truly impressed. Based on my experiences with various veterinary practices, I can appreciate how special her approach is: calm, empathetic, and at the same time highly competent. My dog was relaxed the entire time – and I've rarely felt so well cared for. This combination of empathy and professionalism is truly rare. The team was also very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend her.
Very friendly doctor, excellent explanation of the diagnosis and treatment options, and despite it being an emergency service, a very fair price... we actually go to a different practice, but I think that might change soon... thank you again
Absolutely fantastic! We never thought we'd be in such a situation, but after our little Wanja was spayed, she suddenly became very ill, and we had no idea why. This veterinary practice was on emergency duty on Sunday, and I must say, the vet and her assistant were absolutely top-notch! Many thanks for the super-fast help!
