Today, on the recommendation of another veterinarian, we were referred to Dr. Akkaya and his team. Our dog needed immediate surgery due to a uterine infection. After a thorough explanation and, most importantly, a detailed consultation, Dr. Akkaya and his team immediately took care of her. They worked overtime!! And they did it all with love and empathy! She received an IV drip right away to strengthen her for the surgery. Someone came to check on Bonnie regularly and always asked how she was doing. Our anxieties were taken seriously, and everyone—without exception—immediately took care of our dog and even us. After the surgery, Bonnie was given plenty of time to recover. She was lovingly covered and even given her own bed, where she could wake up without any problems. There was even a pillow! 🥰 Of course, they also gave us tips for home, and what I personally find most amazing is that our beloved pets aren't treated like "things" here, but as patients! The note for home really does say "Patient" 🥰🥰🥰. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻We are beyond grateful to the entire team.
