Here, professional expertise based on the latest scientific findings, passion, empathy, and state-of-the-art equipment come together to achieve the best possible result! Unfortunately, my Rottweiler, Leela, has been experiencing recurring problems over the past few months that suggested back pain. After a thorough examination by Dr. Zimpfer and the subsequent X-rays, we had confirmation: spondylosis. Not a pleasant diagnosis, but I was somehow relieved to have an explanation for the symptoms and to have such a wonderful veterinary practice that provides expert advice and support. In addition to pain medication, laser therapy was recommended for Leela, and with Carolin Richter, we have a truly fantastic physiotherapist on our team. Carolin is incredibly patient and sensitive with my "little" scaredy-cat. With a lick mat, essential oils, a positive atmosphere, and a pleasant environment, she helps Leela gain more and more confidence, and I am so happy about that. What makes me even happier is that Leela is now running and playing through the woods again, full of energy. This hadn't been the case for a long time. Thank you, Dr. Zimpfer! Thank you, Carolin Richter!

We've been seeing Dr. Zimpfer at her veterinary health center for about a year now, regularly treating my dog Luka (now almost 11 years old) for several musculoskeletal conditions (hip dysplasia, spondylosis, cauda equina syndrome). Luka loves his therapist, Sandra, and he really enjoys going there. Why? Sandra is such a sensitive, loving therapist, she has a heart of gold, is highly competent, and possesses enormous expertise. Sandra always takes plenty of time for her patients and their owners. Whether it's the animal or its owner, she always has a sympathetic ear and is always there to offer advice and support. You're never left on your own here. Thank you so much! A heartfelt thank you also goes to Josephine (at reception). She always makes the waiting time pleasant for the owners. She's very helpful; if you need something from the veterinary practice, she simply fetches it for you, for example. All in all, we have to say you're a fantastic team! ... We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to the staff of our veterinary practice and to our veterinarian, Dr. Zimpfer. We are so glad we switched to this practice. Here, they always find the best solution for the animal and its recovery. You are a fantastic team and very empathetic with the owners and their animals of all kinds. Please stay just the way you are. Warmest regards from Luka and his owner.

I can only share the joy my 9-year-old setter feels when he has another appointment for electrotherapy or manual therapy. We came to him with the "problem" of him licking himself on one side, sometimes bleeding. After food intolerances were ruled out, an orthopedic issue was considered. That's how we came to Sandra's team. First, he was examined while walking. Sandra told me what she saw and what she was paying attention to. Our first appointments were characterized by sharing observations and explaining what she was doing. This allowed me to notice changes and track improvements myself. Sandra created training plans for me, which we adjusted regularly. I was always well-received, the entire team contributed to my overall well-being, and successes were celebrated together. What services did we use? One-time medication therapy Manual therapy Electricity twice a week for 4 weeks Result My dog moves more freely, stops licking himself, lies relaxed on his back again, and seems much more agile and fitter overall. A clear recommendation for both animals and humans. 🫶And a huge thank you to Sandra and the entire team.

The entire team deserves 5 stars – actually, many more! Sandra handles the sessions with incredible competence, sensitivity, and charm – and the staff at the reception desk are always cheerful and empathetic. Addendum: After the therapy session, I received a call from the practice – "Did you have any cash with you? Is anything missing?" – and sure enough, the 50-euro note had slipped out of my pocket. Super friendly and honest. A huge thank you to everyone! Greetings from the dog, who's now completely wasted 😄👍🏻

Anyone who owns an older pet will eventually reach a point where they want to alleviate their pet's age-related ailments as much as possible and is often looking for support and information for their senior companion. Unfortunately, many veterinary practices still simply prescribe painkillers as their first choice because the animal is, well, "old." Not so at the Potsdam Veterinary Health Center! The physiotherapy offered through Dr. Zimpfer's veterinary practice clearly stands out from the crowd! Whether it's laser therapy, electrotherapy, underwater treadmill, manual therapy, or much more—you and your pet feel very well cared for and understood! The most suitable therapeutic method is found with empathy for both you and, above all, your pet, and it does so much good for the animal. You immediately notice if you've missed an appointment for any reason. I am so incredibly grateful to have found this health center that truly takes a holistic approach to the health and well-being of our four-legged friends, and I want to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to the entire team, but especially to our trusted physiotherapist Sandra and to the friendly colleague at the reception desk who is truly dedicated and competent, whether it's about scheduling appointments or anything else 🙏👏 D.
