We've been going to this practice for three years and are completely satisfied. In December 2023, we brought our Tibetan Terrier, Emmie, and Rosine, along with a companion, to Dr. Grote's office for an emergency appointment around 5:00 a.m., as she was on call that night. I had called ahead because Emmie had suddenly stretched out all four legs and her eyes were twitching. I was told to come immediately, which we did. Emmie was examined thoroughly right away. Diagnosis: Vespular syndrome, which is similar to a stroke. Dr. Grote said we could go home to collect ourselves for a bit and then come back at 7:30 a.m., when her colleagues would be there to consult with her. Of course, we came back at 7:30 a.m., and Emmie received excellent medication. ... She couldn't walk for four days and wore a diaper because she couldn't manage on her own anymore, but after about five days she started walking again and could do everything again, albeit with assistance. She retained a balance problem and a tilted head, but she was very content and could do everything on her own again after about eight days. Unfortunately, Emmie had to be euthanized on-site in 2024 due to a severe lung condition. She was so ill that no veterinarian would have been able to come to our home in the coming days. Ms. Grote and the others were very empathetic and gave us the time we needed to make a decision and say goodbye. Everyone is incredibly kind, and they are also considerate of the fact that Rosine can often only go to Ms. Grote because she is afraid of the vet, having once received a very painful injection there. We also received excellent nutritional advice on-site from a specialist. I really enjoy going to this practice; of course, it's better if you don't have to go to the vet, just like you would yourself. I wholeheartedly recommend this practice. 🥰

I was a patient at the Belm Veterinary Center with my dog, who suffered from heart and kidney disease. We switched to them a year ago, and I felt well cared for from the very beginning. Although my dog was always anxious, he became more relaxed with each vet visit. If I had any questions or concerns, I could call, and if I felt something was wrong, I was able to get an appointment quickly. The team did everything they could to slow the progression of the disease, giving me many more wonderful moments with my dog. Despite severe kidney failure, he remained fit and active for a long time. Unfortunately, the disease is incurable, and so the moment eventually came when I had to let my dog go. This farewell will never be easy, but the vet did everything possible to make it as bearable and peaceful as possible for me. I can truly only say positive things, as I was completely satisfied with the compassion, empathy, and loving support I received right up to the end. I am especially grateful to the veterinarian and the veterinary assistants who stayed with me and advised me until the very end. I would also like to thank the veterinary assistants who were always incredibly kind and helpful. Words will never be enough to express how much your support, compassion, and care meant to me. You stood by my dog and me during the most difficult time, and so, from the bottom of my heart: Thank you.

We had to call the emergency vet due to our horse suddenly becoming lame. I would like to commend the veterinarian for arriving quickly and being very friendly. Unfortunately, our positive impressions ended there. After a very brief examination (maximum 5 minutes), the diagnosis was that the horse had simply sprained its leg and the lameness would likely be gone by the next morning. In reality, however, the horse's condition deteriorated significantly. Another veterinarian was able to provide a plausible and ultimately correct diagnosis the following day. Of course, we understand that emergency services are more expensive. However, for such a short examination and a misdiagnosis, we felt the price charged was disproportionately high. Overall, we are very disappointed and would have preferred a more thorough examination and a more realistic assessment of the situation.

Pleasant building...no crowds, spacious waiting area, wide range of treatments, comfortable and larger treatment rooms, very friendly and competent veterinarians, enough time for each animal per appointment, good prices. I was and am completely satisfied with the treatments for my cat 🐱
