I called the vet's emergency number in a panic and in tears about an emergency involving my 18-year-old cat (it was 8 p.m.). My cat was bleeding from the mouth, and I was very worried. The vet's response was completely unprofessional and unsympathetic. He simply said that people always call in the evening and that my cat must have had the problem for a long time. His diagnosis, without even seeing the cat, was that it was related to its teeth and that it was an old cat. He recommended that I might come by the next day. If you offer an emergency number, you should also be prepared to make time for such emergencies. Next time, I'll just give my cat a calendar of when it can die. Thank you for the "support."

We called because we were at a loss and wanted to get a second opinion. According to other vets, there was nothing more they could do. The first vet was immediately very unfriendly, said it wasn't an emergency, and hung up right away… really unpleasant, but we had a good experience with them before!
