We won’t be returning to this vet and will explain why: Context: Our dog is a therapy dog that works with kids, teens and adults with trauma. For the record, after the initial barking, our dog let the female vet examine her without aggression or other unwanted behaviors. Pro: vet took her time & had many assistants Pro: whatever was given to our dog, she felt a bit better afterwards Con: upon arrival an off lead dog (and snarky too) of the vet/assistants immediately approached our on lead dog. Even if that dog would have been lovely, it cannot know whether my dog is, which potentially creates (unnecessary!) unsafe situations for all parties involved. Con: upon called in to see the vet our scared dog barked at her a few times. Without listening, the vet then barked at us in a lecturing and condescending manner ‘why we let her do this’, ‘if it were HER dog SHE would never allowed it’, ‘why aren’t you do anything?!’, whether our dog is ‘a rescue?’ (red flag comment!) and that we are ‘lucky because the chefs' GSD is not there because if it were, and our dog would bark, that dog would bark too and show her, her place!’ Con: we and our dog felt judged within 30 seconds which is not enough to assess a new client, whose history and reason(s) to visit are completely unknown. In our line of work (trauma and pain behaviour), if we were to behave like that, it would sound like this: a child comes in crying and we then start barking at the parent ‘man, get control of your kid, that behavior is ridiculous and unacceptable!’. And let’s face it. No matter how important and good the work is that vets do, dogs usually don’t like those spaces. Con: this vet claims to be a dog behaviorist. Surely, understanding that unsettling the owners by disrespectful behavior does not calm the dog. Surely, vets and behaviorists have protocols in place for supporting and making reactive dogs feel (more) comfortable.

After an odyssey of more than six months, we learned about Dr. von Lützow. During those months, our Saint Bernard suffered from growth problems, pain, and limping, and despite bilateral shoulder OCD surgery, his condition didn't improve. We ourselves suffered greatly alongside our Paul. Thanks to Dr. von Lützow's expert help, Paul is finally pain-free after gold bead acupuncture. He can finally just be a dog. He no longer has to be confined to a leash but can even play with other dogs. Our Paul is now a well-balanced and grateful dog. We cannot thank Dr. von Lützow enough. His expertise, empathy, and help are unparalleled. We would also like to sincerely thank his dedicated and friendly staff.

A practice with a lot of heart and expertise. They were incredibly dedicated to helping us and our dog, Fancy. Now she's walking again. Our deepest gratitude goes to Nicola Wödl, ​​our physiotherapist at the practice, who went above and beyond after Fancy's slipped disc – tirelessly staying informed and exploring every possible avenue to help our dog. The slipped disc happened several years ago now. As we've gotten older, we've become more frequent visitors to the practice, and once again it's Nicola Wödl who, with her calm and collected approach, analyzes and treats us, helping not only Fancy. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for everything.

My dog ​​has been a patient of Dr. Hieber for quite some time now. She is always very empathetic and patient, as Nero is very afraid of every veterinarian. Things always go surprisingly well here, and we feel very well cared for.

My cat was spayed at this clinic two years ago. Despite this, she went into heat again. At another clinic, it was discovered that hormonally active tissue remained on both sides, necessitating a second surgery. Save your money, your sanity, and your pet's health – not recommended, not even worth one star.
