Reviews
Fast and highly competent help! Unfortunately, we needed the emergency veterinary service twice in a short period. Fast, highly competent help for our donkeys. Absolutely recommendable, thank you so much!
We came in as an emergency case with our stray dog and received such wonderful, loving care and advice. All the options were discussed, and everything that could be done as quickly as possible was addressed and treated so that we can stay here with our four rascals. I was so incredibly happy to receive help here. This practice deserves more than five stars. Dr. Gabe and her team helped us tremendously. Best regards, Family M. with Trixie and the gang
Unfortunately, I had to call on Dr. Garbe's emergency veterinary services twice this year for my horse. Both times she arrived quickly, provided expert help, and took plenty of time for us. Thank you so much!
Thanks to the loving and swift help *cough*, our cat passed away "thanks" to this doctor's office. One Saturday, we brought our cat to the emergency room as an acute emergency, which just so happened to be on call. And unfortunately, that was this office. Our cat was apathetic, unresponsive, had vomited, and couldn't hold his urine (at 6 years old, out of nowhere). Well, in any case, we arrived at the office with these conditions. After a good 15 minutes, the doctor at least managed to let us in (we arrived in time with the doctor, and she was aware of his condition). After another 15 minutes, our cat had an IV drip in his body. Wow, great. After another 10 minutes, he was actually examined (great, right?). Instead of just saying, "I'm sorry, with our limited resources, we can't help any more." No. WE had to try to give our cat oxygen via an oxygen mask because the vet preferred to see an animal with diarrhea (by the way, it had been for 5 days, and as I said, we were there on the weekend...). After that, NOTHING happened. Oh, yes, it did. The poor cat was examined again. Just like the first time, they tried to check his blood sugar. Unfortunately, our cat was in such shock that no more blood was reaching his extremities. From then on, despite repeated requests to let him go, nothing happened. We were kept there for a full 3 hours before we were kindly allowed to leave with a bill of €420 (WHAT FOR???) and the instruction to go to a veterinary clinic in Berlin. Oh, and of course, we had to call that very clinic and arrange for us to be allowed there. Well, on the way to the clinic, our cat died in the car on the highway. It's a shame, with faster help, our cat might still be alive. But it's impossible to say for sure. Anyone who's read this far (my respect first) probably thinks this is a bit exaggerated or even made up. But please believe me when I tell you that every word is true. We were taken to an emergency clinic as an absolute emergency, and the poor animal received absolutely no help. Quite the opposite. Every tiny chance of survival that he didn't have was destroyed by this practice.
