Reviews
A very competent and friendly veterinarian, I can highly recommend her! She helped my tricolor cat in an emergency without hesitation, and we are still very grateful for that today. A big thank you :)
We went to the practice as an emergency because our vet was on vacation. We were able to arrive before the practice opened. The team was incredibly kind and cared for our Rudi for almost two hours. We had seriously considered switching to this practice. But sadly, our little Rudi passed away on Friday. 🌈🖤🌈 Nevertheless, thank you again from the bottom of our hearts. 🫶🏻
I'm rather dissatisfied with the treatment. My dog absolutely had to be put under anesthesia for the x-ray (apparently mandatory, probably for billing purposes), which is strange since other vets manage without it. Diagnosis: None, but suspected... because nothing was visible. Further clarification would only be possible with an MRI in Rostock for €1000. Second opinion from another vet: "Wait and see, rest for 1-2 weeks, and give supplements for bones and cartilage; probably growth-related, not uncommon in large breeds." And lo and behold: miraculous healing through time. If I hadn't gotten a second opinion, this whole ordeal would have been really expensive (even so, it was around €300 for two visits with anesthesia and x-rays). Examination, consultation, and treatment were inadequate.
Anne-Kathrin Dobberkau and her team have been supporting my dogs (and me) through all phases of life for several years now, including and especially through the last and most challenging phase. They know my dogs intimately and are my first point of contact for acute and chronic (emergency) cases, and for all questions concerning canine health, nutrition, and well-being. They always consider the whole dog and their environment, are ALWAYS available, and are open to my concerns (and emotional well-being...). Thanks to their patient and ongoing commitment to education, I've learned a great deal about my dogs' health along the way. Five stars are nowhere near enough – thank you from the bottom of my heart for your incredibly excellent work!!!
Our vet was on vacation, and no one in Neubrandenburg could or would sell us an important heart medication for our little dog. I was able to pick it up here the next day. Thank you so much for your uncomplicated help.
