Unfortunately, I absolutely cannot recommend this veterinarian. A few years ago, we had our then 8-month-old male cat neutered there. Shortly after the surgery, he became very ill, so we had to rush him to an animal hospital in Ludwigsburg. There, a congenital heart defect was discovered, requiring immediate emergency surgery. In retrospect, we wondered why nothing unusual had been noticed during the paid pre- and post-operative examinations at this practice. Two years later, our cat had to undergo surgery again for the same problem, which sadly didn't help – he passed away. Despite this experience, about two weeks ago we made the mistake of having our female cat spayed there again. After the surgery, we were told that one of her kidneys was enlarged and that there was a lump in her abdomen, supposedly just a harmless blood clot that would resolve itself with antibiotics. A week later, her condition deteriorated drastically, so we went back to the animal hospital in Ludwigsburg. There, it turned out that both kidneys were perfectly fine and that the supposed blood clot was actually a severe inflammation that had already spread throughout her body. Our cat had to undergo immediate surgery and has been hospitalized for several nights. Her condition was life-threatening. We find the misjudgment of the situation and the dismissive attitude particularly appalling. Statements like, "That's normal, she was only spayed two days ago," even though the surgery was a week prior and only a follow-up examination had taken place two days earlier, make us seriously question the thoroughness of the care provided. Furthermore, we had to incur many unnecessary costs that could have been avoided with a correct diagnosis. We can wholeheartedly recommend the veterinary clinic in Ludwigsburg – they reacted appropriately and professionally right away. This practice, however, unfortunately cannot.

We are absolutely thrilled with this veterinary practice! From the very first moment, we felt incredibly well cared for. Ms. Großkordt takes her time, explains everything clearly, and handles the animals with great sensitivity. You can immediately tell that she works with heart and passion. A huge compliment also goes to the entire team: friendly, helpful, calm, and always loving in their interactions with both animals and people. Thank you so much for the wonderful care!

If your pet is experiencing health problems, they are in excellent hands at the veterinary clinic. Over the many years we have been visiting this clinic, both animals and owners have always been warmly welcomed and professionally treated. Here, the animal and the owners' concerns are the top priority. The animals receive the help they need, and the owners are given peace of mind, knowing that everything will be alright. Thank you for that. But I would also like to extend a personal thank you to the veterinarian at the clinic who accompanied our dog Angelo on his final journey and helped him pass away peacefully. Thank you so much. Unfortunately, all of our pets passed away this year, but as soon as we decide to get another dog or cat, or both, we will see you again. With warmest regards, Angelo's Family
