Tierarztpraxis Bode

I took my 7-month-old Turkish Angora kitten to Dr. Bode over the weekend. He'd apparently nibbled on a ficus tree, vomited, and was drooling like crazy. Despite my immense anxiety, the doctor calmly welcomed me, examined the little guy, and gave him a precautionary injection. His friendly and calm manner put me at ease, and I was able to drive home with my precious kitten without any fear. I highly recommend Dr. Bode.

He sent me away with my seriously ill dog. My little girl had a stroke, and he let me down, saying he didn't have an emergency room and sent me away, also because the practice was sterile. I was stunned and drove with her for about an hour to the emergency room. Unfortunately, any help came too late, and my little girl had to be put down with a heavy heart. WHY DIDN'T HE HELP? WHY? How could a vet act like that? His sterile practice was more important to him than my sick dog.

A great doctor! Friendly, compassionate, and, what's important in a doctor: technically knowledgeable. We had three rabbits with us for vaccinations. The process was completely problem-free. Therefore, the price/performance ratio is definitely good. Don't be fooled by the exterior of the doctor's office. It's a bit dated.

I've known the practice since I was a child, and I have to say I'd much rather go to another vet. There are 1,000 times better vets than Bode. Friends call him "Schlachter" (butcher) because he doesn't take things seriously, which was sad, though.
