While on vacation, my dog tore off his thumb claw. I called the emergency service rather recklessly. Dr. Uhlmann calmed me down on the phone and said I'd done everything right by bandaging him, and that I'd just have to wait until tomorrow, saving me unnecessary money on the emergency service. She was so generous, and then gave me first-class advice over the phone. Thank you so much for that.

Ah, it's so nice when something goes completely smoothly. New Year's Eve morning, injured cat. Where to go? Called the emergency number and ended up at Mr. Uhlmann's practice. Got an appointment, went in, treatment, paid, everything sorted.

Thank you so much, he helped and supported us immediately, going above and beyond his area of responsibility, even though we, as tourists, won't be coming back. He helped with empathy, without any dollar signs in his eyes.

My Nelly [Labrador lady, almost 9 years old] couldn't wait. She even scratched at the front door and yelped with joy. So if my dog is happy, then I'm happy too 👍.

I have to give one star, but actually, it would be minus ten. The vet was called for an old female dog. She barely wanted to do anything and was practically incapable of doing anything. As an owner, you know when it's time to let your pet go. He arrived already grumpy and in a bad mood. The elderly woman stood briefly in front of him and then crept into the kitchen. Then I had to listen to him accusing me of wanting to get rid of my dog...etc. Presumptuous and rude. He didn't examine her and said that with enough painkillers, she could still live...a medium-sized dog on the first floor who could barely walk and could only get up or lie down with great difficulty. She ate very little and had lost all joy. I had already given her the usual medication, but her body just wouldn't cooperate anymore. So, she was supposed to spend her final days in the apartment, heavily medicated and wearing a diaper. A breed that loves being outdoors, independent and self-reliant. He then added: "You wouldn't euthanize a person like that..." Unbelievable. And I'd have to pay almost €50 for it. As he left, I heard him grumbling: "...that can't be true..." The same thing was on my voicemail... he'd called earlier and I hadn't heard it. I was in tears, which he didn't care about. That was on Thursday; she collapsed on Sunday. That's exactly what I wanted to spare her. A vet finally put her down. I'm an animal rights activist; 99% of all the animals I care for come from shelters. I've given up most things for them; I'm not rich. I have a big heart and I'm good with animals. My old dog came from a shelter and was with me for 2.5 years. And 1.5 years ago, at 12 years old, she had her uterus removed due to an infection. And this man is accusing me of things without even knowing me or my dogs. I wouldn't even bring a mouse to that man for treatment anymore... it would be at his mercy. My dog is suffering because of him. (I also had a witness present and have the words on my voicemail.)
