Great doctor!
Such a loving and humble doctor. I carried a cat from abroad and needed an eu passport for travelling in Europe and UK. I called five vet offices in both Frankfurt and Munich and had nothing but frustration.. so much bureacratic and their "policies" with more vaccine and "wait time" for document process, etc. I was lucky that I stayed in the Holiday Inn around and decided to try to call any vet. Doctor Sonntag set my appointment in person (cus his reception does not speak English) to fit my convinience as possible. When I arrived I was surprised that everything was actually so easy. Doctor spent 20 minutes himself filling in the required paper work. I also asked help to calm pet for travelling. Doctor brought my cat an oral med and read the instructions carefully together with me and told me that he did not remember everything so better to be sure (what a humble attitude). All done in 30 minutes. And the charge was way too low to make me shy. If you check online discussion you may find that in many clinics they demand a lot of more procedures and time for writing EU passport. Those turns out from this experience that just business talk. Unfortunately you may find majority are acting that way.
Very nice vet. Speaks great english and take good care of the pet.
A super lovely, empathetic, and fair vet. I found him through a friend and I definitely won't be switching vets because my little white Chihuahua, Coco, felt very comfortable with him. He gave me lots of tips, and we'll see each other again soon. No questions? Thanks again for everything.
After coming in Germany a couple years back, we were looking for a vet for both of our cats. It turned out that Tierartz Sonntag was a couple streets away from our appartment. Lucky strike! he speaks English and has helped us with everything pet-related. Helped us with their infections, made space for us between appointments when we had emergencies, and has been great when helping us out. Is professional, really interested in your pets, and has a great service.
