We made an emergency appointment in our area because our cat had suddenly started having seizures. Veterinarians tried to put us off, dismissing it as just a nightmare. Luckily, we called Dr. Unger's veterinary practice. "Please come by; it's difficult to tell over the phone." So we went without an appointment. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome and were immediately reassured at reception. After a short wait, what turned out to be one of the best vets and a curious trainee was already looking after our poor kitten's well-being. Dr. Kixmöller is always willing to listen and was at our side from the very first moment. Momo loves her vet and enjoys being there, even after every single treatment. We, Momo's owners, are somewhat knowledgeable about human medicine and have always been able to rely on the veterinary practice's advice, whether by phone or email. Both the empathetic and highly trained veterinary assistants and the doctors were able to help us with advice and support through a difficult six months. They arranged for us to contact the LMU Small Animal Clinic, where two senior physicians cared for our little Momo. Our cat is now very well adjusted and is regularly treated at this practice. If I could, I would prefer this practice to any general practitioner's office. There are virtually no waiting times, whether for an appointment or in the practice itself. At no point did we feel like we weren't being listened to or given poor advice. Costs are discussed and explained very openly. Alternatives are presented, and they consider which ones make sense and which ones don't. I was at the practice one day when our attending veterinarian unfortunately couldn't be there. What surprised me was that every employee in the practice seemed to be very knowledgeable about our little mouse, even though Dr. Kixmöller was the only one who examined and treated our cat. Please keep up the good work... we'll definitely see you again soon; we're really looking forward to seeing the renovated rooms. P.S.: Check out our Instagram for news and information.

A very good team, very empathetic, patient, and humane. They care about the animal, not the money.

Hello, Puschl, our cat, was hit by a car on Sunday morning. We immediately went to the Unger Veterinary Practice in Scheyern. Dr. Verena B. and her colleague took loving care of her. She underwent surgery that evening. Puschl is back to her former self after 14 days. Thank you so much, you lovely girls. Best, Andrea Schmitt

I want to say thank you for the wonderful veterinary care my horse received. Dr. Unger cared for my horse for many years, but this January I had to say goodbye to my Ruby (a warmblood) at almost 33 years old. I also think it's fantastic that this practice offers an emergency service. My small animals are also very well cared for here. They ensure a dignified farewell for both large and small animals (cats, rabbits). I thank the entire team from the bottom of my heart; keep up the great work! 👍🫶🏼

We can wholeheartedly recommend this practice! They saved our little 15-year-old Pekingese girl's life for the second time! We had previously been to three other veterinarians who didn't know what was wrong with our sweet girl and wanted to euthanize her because of her age. We had a feeling she still wanted to fight and live, so, just like a year ago, we made one last attempt to save her life at this practice. The vet listened to us with the utmost patience, trusted our instincts, examined her, performed another ultrasound and X-ray, and found a possible cause. Now, just 36 hours after the appointment, our sweet girl is eating, drinking, and playing again! We took her for a long walk today (unthinkable just two days ago), and she loved it! We are incredibly grateful that they listened to us and trusted us, and that our Shani will now be with us a little longer! We are so incredibly grateful that they listened to us and trusted us, and that our Shani will now be with us a little longer! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU ❤️❤️❤️🐶
