No matter what worries or problems you come here with, all members of the team are fantastic! Very friendly and competent. Waiting times are also very short, and appointments can be made quickly. While you might not want to come back 😉, you'll always be happy to return because you know your beloved pet will be well treated and cared for.

We came to this wonderful veterinary practice due to an emergency on Mother's Day and have been coming here ever since. We had an emergency with our furry friend on Sunday and managed to reach someone by phone right away. Everything was set in motion so we could be seen as quickly as possible. The promised callback came, and we were able to visit the practice. We received such a warm and friendly welcome, even though it was a Sunday/holiday. Our furry friend was treated wonderfully, and we were given a follow-up appointment for a check-up and to discuss the next steps. Surgery was being considered because of her teeth, but first, blood was drawn to make sure everything was okay, as our furry friend is quite elderly. The blood test results were fine, and the vet said that on the day of the surgery, the in-house cardiologist would take another look at her heart and breathing – due to an enlarged heart, a diagnosis already known. Thankfully, she did just that! Our furry friend didn't need surgery, and we're now managing her enlarged heart with medication. And everything else will now be discussed. The entire team, whether the doctor, the assistant, or the receptionist, were all very friendly and respectful towards us; we felt very comfortable and received excellent professional advice. Our furry friend was also handled wonderfully the entire time. We can wholeheartedly recommend this veterinary practice, whether for a routine check-up or in an emergency. Thank you so much to this fantastic team!

After some time had passed and I'd come to terms with my emotions, I want to share our formative experience. Not to criticize (that's not my style), but to protect dog owners facing a similarly difficult decision. During a seemingly routine check-up of our German Shepherd, splenic tumors were discovered, which are usually malignant. Our furry friend had been perfectly healthy up until then! Dr. Güthle gave us great hope by suggesting that the entire spleen be removed during surgery. We sought a second opinion at a veterinary clinic in Augsburg. Their recommendation was to cherish the remaining time we had together, as these types of tumors usually metastasize. Nevertheless, we opted for surgery with Dr. Güthle, who made us feel comfortable, shared her experiences, and explained that in large veterinary clinics, you're just one of many patients. Giving up wasn't an option. We survived the day of the surgery, but then endured a sleepless, horrific night. The next morning, we went straight back because our dog was in absolutely terrible condition. Dr. Güthle almost... Dr. Güthle sent us away again, saying this condition was normal after anesthesia. She palpated his wound/scar, and blood spurted out of him; his gums turned pale—the vet was completely overwhelmed. Internal bleeding—another anesthetic—during which we decided to let him go without being able to properly be there or say goodbye. It completely devastated us! In the end, they said his internal organs weren't as healthy as initially claimed. We didn't know what to believe anymore. I wouldn't wish such a traumatic experience on anyone. My advice: If you decide on surgery, go to a proper veterinary clinic with overnight monitoring and the option of a blood transfusion. I still recommend the practice for routine checkups and the like; it's modern, and the staff is very friendly. But for major procedures, it wouldn't be my choice again. In my opinion, they grossly overestimated their capabilities.

There, for the first time, we truly felt that someone was interested in our problem. After three different vets before, I dared to switch again. A diagnosis came up right away, which turned out to be the right one. We're super happy, except for the dog 😂
