From the very beginning, I've taken all my animals to Dr. Lücke. My pack of dogs isn't easy. They've all experienced terrible things abroad, including a Kangal mix, etc. My whole family and I also take all our cats to Dr. Lücke. Today, my Kangal needed an ear treatment. Due to extremely bad experiences, her head and needles are traumatic for her. Restraint isn't an option either. A thousand thanks for your patience and calmness with my menagerie. Over the past five years, we've come to you with several emergencies. Nowhere else could the animals have received better care. Even saying goodbye to our family members was handled with such care and compassion. Unfortunately, I can only give five stars. Thank you for the past five years. I'm so glad to have you for my animals; it's such a relief for me as an extremely critical pet owner! From me and my menagerie, a heartfelt thank you!
We took our dog there on Friday as an emergency. It was during regular opening hours. We weren't even invited in, nor was our dog examined. We were sent away because I had already provided initial care. I can't comment on the vet's competence, as we never even saw her. Sorry. He was then operated on today after initial treatment by another vet.
On the recommendation of a friend, we visited the practice for the first time yesterday. Ms. Lücke and her assistant were incredibly friendly. Ms. Lücke takes her time, listens attentively, and tries to get a holistic understanding of the situation. She was excellent at dealing with our highly allergic and anxious Old English Bulldog mix. It seems that Ms. Lücke places particular importance on the comfort of both the animal and its owner. Possible causes and treatment options were explained in detail. Based on our first impression, we feel we are in good hands. We haven't had such a stress-free vet visit in ages.
I feel very well cared for at the practice. My dog hasn't had anything serious so far (thankfully), but Dr. Lücke still takes her time and explains everything step by step. My dog has also developed a trusting relationship with her; he was initially terrible at the practice. Dr. Lücke's calm manner has significantly improved this. She's a very competent veterinarian. I think the whole team works together very well. I also get along well with the veterinary assistant :) I have absolutely no complaints; it's also easy to talk to her or ask her for advice. Thank you for your wonderful support!
