Very disrespectful and unprofessional, never visit this vet

I was there today with my first dog. I called on Friday and immediately got an appointment for Monday (my preferred date). Dr. Plauk is incredibly friendly and takes plenty of time for both the animal and the owner. He has a broad range of knowledge and explains everything very thoroughly. I'm so grateful to have found such a wonderful veterinarian and feel my new family member is in excellent hands. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

I called this morning about my cat. Suspected urethral obstruction. For male cats, this is fatal within a few hours. Our wonderful vet, Dr. Hennen, unfortunately doesn't open until 10:00 AM. This other vet opens at 8:00 AM. I called at exactly 8:00 AM. His response on the phone was: "I can't help you on such short notice. Go to someone else." Then he hung up. I'm appalled by his incompetence, as this vet clearly couldn't grasp the seriousness of the situation. Someone like that shouldn't be allowed to work in Germany. Do yourselves and your animals a favor and go somewhere else immediately. I recommend Dr. Hennen's veterinary practice or, in an emergency, Anicura Bökelberg in Mönchengladbach.

Even the worst rating is too kind for this man. This morning, we were standing with our cat, still alive, in front of the door at 7:40. He'd been hit by a car; it didn't look good. I'll spare you the details. We rang the bell, and what happened next was unbelievable: he was busy with something else and we should have called ahead.

All these bad reviews are an absolute disgrace!! I've taken all sorts of animals to all sorts of vets, and NONE of them were even remotely as good as Dr. Plauk! I don't know where anyone gets the right to try and harm you unnecessarily with lies! Please see for yourselves! He's a fantastic vet, you can get an appointment quickly, he takes his time, and he's certainly not a racist! Only Dr. Plauk!
