I took my dog ​​to the emergency veterinary clinic because of severe abdominal pain, diarrhea, and fever. Despite these acute symptoms, no further diagnostic tests were performed. Only fever-reducing and pain-relieving medication was administered. I specifically requested an ultrasound, as my dog ​​was clearly in poor condition. This request was ignored, and the ultrasound was not performed. The very next day, a veterinary clinic diagnosed a severe uterine infection (pyometra) and enteritis using ultrasound. Immediate emergency surgery was necessary. I find it very concerning that, despite clear emergency symptoms and my explicit request, no appropriate examination was carried out. This led to a significant delay in the diagnosis and caused my dog ​​unnecessary suffering. Furthermore, I was given a medication for bone and joint pain, which is also bad for the stomach and digestive system.

I've been taking my animals there for about 20 years. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and empathetic in their handling of the animals. The same is true of Dr. Tjaden. He is very experienced and his assessments are always spot on. The animals' well-being is always his top priority; he also arranges referrals to other veterinarians and schedules appointments. For me, it's always the first place I go.

Dr. Tjaden is a very good veterinarian. He's professional yet friendly. However, he doesn't get along well with my dog, so he trembles a lot even before we get to the practice. Waiting in the waiting room isn't possible because he urinates there out of fear.
