The worst veterinary experience ever. My dog hat diarrea with blood. I found this place on Google since my 2 reference vets where one on holidays and the other fully booked. I should have waited for my usual vets. First of all they didnt communicate with me but with my friend even though the dog is mine. So, I want to know what he has. However, lets say that this is my fault and my bad german. Ok. Lets go on, then. I did analysis and visits. I spent 500€ circa without having an answer of what my dog has. They called and said that from the analysis the dog looks fine, just the glucose was down. Well, i am not a vet, but as soon as I look at the analysis I found 2 other values not in line (ehm… one over 30% than the maximum). I sent the analysis to a doctor that in 2 seconds told me “allergies or parassite”. So, are they not able to read analysis? Or what? Fun fact: To get printed analysis and anamnesis I need to wait. And the anamnesis has been asked 4 times before getting it. Of course when I asked it, I was completely ignored. So… thankfully my friend is Austrian and he got a kind of them? ( after still many requests..) Thats my experience. My suggestion? Find a better vet if you are looking for one.
Top.
Our two cats are patients of Dr. Peintinger and always receive very loving care there. Even when our cat needed dental surgery, they reacted incredibly quickly to our concerns. We are very satisfied :-)
Today, I took my 10-year-old Malinois male to Ms. Peintinger to have his stitches removed. My dog is completely uncooperative at the vet – so far, nothing has worked without sedation. Ms. Peintinger, however, took a completely different approach. She thought about how to make the visit as pleasant and stress-free as possible for such a dog. I handed my dog over to her, muzzled, as she suggested, went into the waiting room, and then she was alone with my dog in the treatment room – and actually managed to remove the stitches without sedation! With incredible calm, experience, and sensitivity – supported by her equally empathetic team – she treated my dog. At first, he naturally resisted, but with her gentle, patient manner and little "massage tricks," she was able to calm him wonderfully. It was truly impressive to see how much trust and confidence she exudes – even with a dog who normally doesn't allow strangers near him. I'm absolutely thrilled, impressed, and deeply grateful. I'm incredibly grateful that after so many years, a veterinarian has finally seriously considered how to make a visit as pleasant as possible for a dog with such behavior—and that she approaches and treats even the most difficult dogs with so much understanding, empathy, and consideration. A huge thank you to Ms. Peintinger and her wonderful team—you truly made us incredibly happy today! Animal-loving greetings, Gabriele Scherer and Fred
