Reviews
We say THANK YOU 𫶠We are absolutely thrilled with the Overath Animal Health Center. From our very first visit, we felt our dog Aura was in excellent hands. Dr. Bücheler is highly competent and explains everything calmly and clearly, taking his time with each patient. His passion for animals and thorough work are evident. The way Aura is treated with such empathy and love is outstanding. Even in stressful situations, the team was patient and reassuring. The entire team is consistently friendly and professional. As a pet owner, you feel truly valued. If you're looking for trustworthy, competent, and warm care for your pet, this is the place to go! A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for everything!
I absolutely cannot recommend this vet!!! A complete rip-off and utterly inhumane... He tried to tell us there was a tumor, so he's clairvoyant too... But what speaks against an X-ray of the lungs, even though the problem was in the jaw!!! He could have X-rayed the paws while he was at it... He didn't take a temperature, gave us a complete shock with his suspicion, and traumatized the animal with two X-rays, etc. He then wanted to wait at least two weeks for a CT scan and biopsy, so the dog would suffer even more... Everyone knows that when a tumor is punctured, the trapped toxins spread throughout the entire organism... Then he even blackmailed me, insisting I do everything he said!!! Otherwise, he wouldn't operate on the dog... All in all, the animal would have had to suffer for about four more weeks... Now for the costs... First, 354 euros for 20 minutes there... Then, according to him, it would have been 1600-1800 euros for everything... Oh yes, and then another 4000-5000 euros for the operation... That's how much money you pay for this traumatic experience!!! All in all, it's like something out of a movie... The proof is in the pudding... My dog ââis on the road to recovery without surgery and thousands of euros that I would never pay anyway!!! Oh yes, and I should probably report her to animal welfare... We're never setting foot in there again...
Dr. BĂźcheler is a wonderful and empathetic doctor with a fantastic team. The misaligned canines of our 7-month-old Havanese puppy were corrected using braces and bands. Highly recommended, and for us, every kilometer from MĂśnchengladbach to Overath was worth it during our four visits. Many thanks also to our regular vet, Dr. Aumann in Korschenbroich, for the great recommendation of Dr. BĂźcheler.
Hello, I can highly recommend this veterinary clinic. Our poor rabbit, Apollo, had terrible dental problems and an abscess in his jaw. We had almost given up hope that he would recover. After a thorough examination and major surgery, he's doing incredibly well again. He has regained 80% of his previous quality of life thanks to the excellent care and advice from the entire team.
Our dog had surgery there shortly before Christmas (removal of a canine tooth). We felt very well cared for overall. Dr. BĂźcheler took the time to explain everything to us. We were present during the anesthesia and even left alone with our dog while she fell asleep. The follow-up care by the other veterinarian (I unfortunately don't recall his name) also felt good. We would definitely come back here.
