When travelling through Austria my dog had an accident in the mountains leaving him almost unable to bare weight on both of his hind legs. This all happened 40 minutes away from this Clinique. When I googled the nearest vet that was still opened on that day, as it was already late afternoon when the accident happened, this one was the only one. I made it there 15 minutes before closure. The staff stayed after hours to help me and my dog. He was taken into care, received x-rays, stitches, antibiotics and whatever was needed to make him comfortable. He was handled with compassion and great care. I was told to return the next day for a check up and was squeezed in, even though they were already fully booked that day. I can't thank enough all the doctors and staff at this clinique. Jasper made a full recovery 48 hours from the accident and I was able to continue with my journey. I wholeheartedly recommend this place. I could tell the doctors there really care about animals! Thank you!!
Super helpful, they administered my dogs tapeworm tablets before returning to the UK. Very friendly and helpful.
Wow what a lovely clinic. Highly recommend. We came in on a Saturday for an emergency for our Rottweiler. She wasn’t standing up suddenly. We drove in from Innsbruck after reading so many bad reviews of the overwhelmed and understaffed clinic in Innsbruck. Tierklinik Imst normally closes at 11am, but they very kindly stayed open for us. We called them at 945am, arrive to the clinic at 11am, and stayed until 12pm. Prices were incredibly fair. The veterinarian seemed very competent and without ego. She shared with us all of the information she has, and acknowledged where more expertise was needed. Our dog has a neurological issue. Also, the clinic is beautiful and the waiting room feels like a rich person’s mountain house with floor to ceiling windows.
Very helpful - administered our dog’s tape worm treatment before return to the UK. Booked an appointment via email. 15 min walk from Aktiv Campsite. Would definitely recommend.
