Very dirty place!!! Blood from other animals all over the floor and the treatment table full of other dog hair! We came in the evening 21:00 to remove a tick from our little dog as I’m not experienced to do it myself, they charged us €160 for 7 seconds of work!!!!! I find it extremely overpriced and very poor quality! Just disappointing.
First class animal hospital and veterinary clinic. The staff does an outstanding job with a big smile on the face, but with a sense of profession and profound understanding of health and life of our fur coated friends.
Overall, very skillful and helpful personnel and empathetic personnel as well as a clean vet. We had a little emergency after our dog Oscar didn't feel like eating and overall seemed lethargic (he usually runs to food) and we called the vet as soon as we noticed and explained to him our concerns. They told us to come right away and we got greeted by a very friendly, young guy who did a first check up and collected information. Withing 10-15 mins, we were with the vet who took some blood samples and an x-ray. The x-ray showed some type of foreign body in his stomach. We were made aware of it right away and they told us they would do a gastroscopy which also was conducted momentarily. They were transparent of all costs. After the gastroscopy, we went back to the vet and they suggested that Oscar stayed with the vet for the night as they couldn't fully identify what it was and would do an ultrasound and if all good, we could pick him up tomorrow early afternoon. Long story, short - while everything went well - one thing to criticize is that the timings the vet and personnel told us were never true. They said on the first night (Friday) that the next day (Saturday) early afternoon, we could pick him up however the night staff would write their report and give a check if he's good to pick up - and we'd get a call in the morning that he really is good to pick up. We didn't get the call so we went to the vet and still had to wait. Then in the afternoon (Saturday), we went there again and waited just to be given the news that they recommend he stays another night as he still had diarrhea and would get another ultrasound but we could pick him up the next day (Sunday) in the morning. Next day morning comes and we had to wait again until the afternoon to really pick him up. Whilst i think it's very considerate of them to suggest our dog stay another day, i don't like the back and forth with the timings. Nonetheless, grateful for the job the vets and personnel provided.
This veteranian used to be competent and humane but not anymore. They managed to save one of our senior cats who developed a sudden face tumor, almost two years ago... However, we came with our other cat recently, who was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney disease after a blood test. She stayed there for 3 days to receive infusions since she was weak and stopped eating for a few days, then was sent home to die, labeled as terminal. We made sure to ask a lot of questions, like if the cat was in pain and most answers given were untrue (we learnt later at another vet!). The personal didn't even give us any medicine or propose any other treatments and totally ignored a mouth infection she also had! Instead, they recommended to put her down and charged us 600€. Meanwhile, we went to another veterinarian and they were shocked about how neglected our cat was... Plus, they ensured us our cat was in a lot of suffering due to the mouth infection, that is why she refused to eat. Two weeks later she is still fighting for her life, as the second vet gave her proper treatment, antibiotics, cortizon, painkillers, medicine, renal food, and taught us how to give her home infusions. All to at least give the animal a chance to survive! But since she was neglected by this clinic, the infection has spread too much already, and as a result she might not make it anymore sadly. The most outrageous part is that they didn't charge us anywhere as much as the greedy mercenaries with zero regard for pet lives did in here! From 5 stars to 0 if I could. At first, I thought we were unlucky this time but after reading similar reviews, I had to share our experience too, which is not so much different from other negative reviews here. Money is their only focus now... Clearly, saving pet lives is not part of their agenda. If you wish to save your pet, go somewhere else.
My Shiba Inu found a large plastic bag wrapped around leftover kebab in the grass and swallowed it. I had to rush to Tierklinik Perchtoldsdorf OST for emergency help. The team provided professional and immediate care, taking into account the specific sensitivities of the breed. They acted quickly, calmly, and with great expertise. I can highly recommend this clinic to anyone who faces an emergency situation with their pet. Their professionalism and compassion made a very stressful moment much easier.
