Avoid at all costs! I went to take food for my cat at night because I work until late evening and the food costs 18Euro and I had to pay 40 because is night and they have to charge it as an "emergency". Cat was at home. Vet did not even showed up, but I had to pay 40 in order for my cat to eat something. They make no sense, they just want money.
We had to go to the veterinary clinic with our cat Bobelino on a Friday. We were treated very well. We can only recommend ... thanks team
We called from another country the day before to ask for a special vaccination, because we don’t have it where we live, and they said that they have it and it’s a very common vaccine. So we arranged an appointment for the next day. We travelled more than 3 hours to get there, and then waited at least an 1 hour in the waiting room, and when we told the vet why we are there, she simply said “sorry we don’t have this type of vaccination, it’s very rare.” We couldn’t believe that we travelled 3 hours to get there, and then 3 hours back for absolutely NOTHING. We double-checked on the phone 2x times before booking the appointment and they still made this mistake. I wouldn’t want my pet to be in their care because this proves how inattentive and negligent they are. Thanks for wasting our time!
I can safely say that if I lived in Austria all my pets would be going to Tierklinik St Pölten, regardless of the extra cost. My Tunga was horribly ill with heart failure that a previous vet did not pick up despite obvious symptoms. Tierklinik St Pölten diagnosed him, treated him and gave us chronic medication for him that gave us 8 more beautiful months with our boy. In the end we made the decision to put him to sleep because he no longer wanted to take his medication, not even with bacon. The staff was supportive of our decision and gave us all the help we needed throughout the horrible time. Yes they charge a premium price but it is for premium service. I can only hope that they continue to provide service like we received because we need Veterinary practitioners like them in this world. Thank you to the team at St Pölten. You made what was a horrible experience better for us and we thank you for treating our Tunga with love and respect.
