Reviews
Moved to Germany from Canada with my 4 dogs and needed tick prevention medicine and testing for tick borne diseases. Was done quickly and professionally, my dogs all tested negative and will be my new veterinarian from now on. Danke 😊🐾
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I have been taking my animals to this practice for many years and can wholeheartedly recommend it. I particularly appreciate the friendly, competent, and empathetic care. Even in urgent cases, I have always received prompt assistance. Without an appointment and without long waiting times, I have always been reliably seen. The entire team is warm, dedicated, and takes their time for both animal and owner. You always feel well cared for and receive excellent advice. Here, the well-being of the animals and trustworthy care are paramount. A personal thank you to Dr. Francke and his wonderful team for the outstanding care, the warmth, and the tireless dedication over all these years. It's wonderful to know that my animals are in the best hands with you. ❤️ Thank you so much! 🐩🐩🐩
Dr. Francke and his team cared for our Loki throughout his entire life, from his first day to his last, and we always felt very well advised and in good hands. Loki especially loved his visits to the vet. Thank you for almost 12 years of expert care!
I called yesterday because my cat was paralyzed in her hindquarters. When I asked how much an X-ray and blood test would cost, I was quoted €600. That's outrageous! I don't even pay that much for a human X-ray. At another vet, I paid €185 for the neurological examination, three X-rays, and then, unfortunately, also for euthanasia. Where do these exorbitant prices come from, or did they simply refuse to treat my cat? I would never recommend this clinic. The way people are treated there is absolutely appalling.
An absolutely disappointing experience with this veterinary practice. We took our Black Shaded British Shorthair cat there because we were initially considering breeding her. A veterinarian at the time explicitly advised against it, as our cat was supposedly too petite and pregnancy and birth could lead to significant complications and pain. We were therefore strongly advised to have her spayed. We trusted this professional recommendation and had the spaying performed. The operation was even carried out by the head veterinarian himself. Later, when we simply asked for written confirmation that the spaying had been performed on the veterinarian's recommendation, suddenly no one wanted to know anything about it. After a polite inquiry, we were simply told that the veterinarian who had treated us at the time couldn't recall such a conversation. Apparently, that was the end of the matter for the practice. What's particularly disappointing is that, as a pet owner, you don't feel taken seriously at all. First, a far-reaching decision and operation are recommended, and then no one takes responsibility or supports the pet owner with a perfectly understandable request for written confirmation. Unfortunately, during several other appointments, we repeatedly had the impression that we were sometimes more familiar with our cat's health than the veterinarians themselves. Instead of competent advice, we often felt uncertain, and our questions weren't always answered convincingly or comprehensibly. Overall, the communication was disappointing, as was the organization. For a practice where trust and responsibility should play such a crucial role, this is very disheartening. We will not be using this veterinary practice again in the future and, based on our experience, unfortunately cannot recommend it.
