My Cattle Dog, Easy, had two artificial lenses implanted by Dr. Albers last week due to cataracts. First of all, I have to say: respect for such a surgical procedure! 👌 My local veterinary ophthalmologist also spoke very positively about the surgery. He said he'd rarely seen such precise and clean work on an animal's eye. I'm so glad I chose this practice. Everyone, from Dr. Albers himself to his entire team, is incredibly kind, empathetic, and gives the animal their undivided attention. Oh yes, and they're also incredibly professional, of course! 😅 The examination table has a soft surface, which the animals certainly find comfortable. Before the surgery, my dog ​​was even placed on a fur rug under anesthesia. Dr. Albers responds to emails very quickly (when he's not operating, that is) 🤭. 😅 ... I'm happy to continue making the nearly 200km drive to have my pet's checkups done here. I can absolutely recommend the Vetaugen Osnabrück practice without hesitation 🍀🦝 As a reader of this review, I can tell you that if your pet has an eye problem, this is the place to go; they will help you. I am very grateful for the excellent treatment my dog ​​received at this eye clinic. He needed surgery and was on the verge of losing his eye. Thanks to the competent and prompt treatment, he was able to save his life. The veterinarian is very friendly and empathetic, and he took plenty of time to explain everything clearly. You can immediately tell that they work with great expertise and genuine care for the animals. We brought our cat here because of an eye problem. The vet was very, very professional. I have enough experience to make comparisons. The animal was calmed, given a treat, and blood was drawn painlessly because the area had been numbed. Unlike other clinics where the blood is drawn drop by drop, and the animal simply can't stand and wait until it's finished. These professionals truly love their work and care for the animal. I had previously been to three clinics, and it was a real nightmare. This clinic is like a Michelin-starred restaurant (although I've never actually been to one), but I imagine it's exactly the same 😄 I will continue to recommend this clinic because they deserve it. A truly wonderful veterinary eye clinic. Our dog had surgery there today and unfortunately had to have his eye removed. Such a situation is, of course, emotionally very difficult, but the entire team was incredibly empathetic, professional, and caring. You could immediately tell that everyone there works with a lot of heart and truly cares for both animals and their owners. We felt completely at ease from the very first moment, and our dog was treated with loving care. The veterinarians and the entire practice team took the time to explain everything clearly and provided us with invaluable support during this difficult time. We are absolutely satisfied with the practice and the treatment and can definitely recommend it! Parking is very convenient. There's a public parking lot right next to the practice, where we've always had no trouble finding a spot. The veterinary assistants are incredibly friendly, and the practice itself is very modern and welcoming. Scheduling an appointment was also quick and easy. A particularly positive aspect was that we were able to get an appointment the same day in an emergency situation where our cat had attacked our dog's eye. In another instance, he discovered a benign tumor on the eye and informed us that it would heal on its own, which was a godsend for us because another practice wanted to surgically remove it, which would have prevented our dog from closing her eye properly. Spoiler alert: the tumor did indeed disappear on its own and did NOT require surgery! The medical care provided by Dr. Stefan Albers was truly outstanding. He thoroughly explained breed-specific eye diseases to us, took plenty of time, and also asked about physical problems not directly related to the eye, giving us helpful tips along the way. During the examination itself, he remained calm and patient the entire time, even though our dog was very excited and stressed. He showed us everything clearly, explained it in an easy-to-understand way, and handled our dog with great care. A truly wonderful veterinarian and a highly recommended practice! Thank you!
