I've always been quite satisfied with this practice. The veterinarians, in particular, are very dedicated. A special thank you goes to veterinarians Leonie Kuzara and Anna Lindebner. They are both incredibly attentive and perform their work with great love and patience for the animals. Veterinarian Viktoria Schmit and veterinarians Bernhard and Simon Reinelt were also very helpful. If any problems arise, someone from the practice will contact you to find a solution or clear up any misunderstandings. If you're looking for a practice where your pet will be in good hands, then Viechdoktorei is the right place.
Competent veterinarians also take care of somewhat frustrated owners (like mine). Detailed information before treatment. Immediate emergency care is available (IV fluids). For the first time in a long time, I feel well-advised and in good hands. I have an appointment next Friday regarding food intolerances... I feel comfortable.
If there were more stars, they would get them. For me, no other veterinarian(s) would be an option. Whether with my dogs or my cat, I've always been in the best hands. It doesn't matter at all who you go to if your favorite vet isn't available. They are all very dedicated, helpful, kind, and competent! My Malinois isn't exactly a people person. But there isn't a single vet there he doesn't like. My female dog always enters the examination room wagging her tail. My cat had two wonderful, pain-free years despite having colon cancer.
I always took both dogs there and was satisfied. Then one dog became very ill. I took him to a clinic over the weekend and then went directly to this vet. In two appointments (costing around €600), the dog had x-rays, an ultrasound, IV fluids, and two blood tests. Unfortunately, they didn't find anything. When the dog became extremely ill a few days later (he vomited and had diarrhea for 36 hours straight), I put him in the car and set off that morning. I called ahead and was simply turned away. Too busy, they said. They looked at his file and told me there was nothing more they could do and referred me to a clinic. I explained the problem and mentioned that there were new test results at the clinic that would need to be redone (which is very expensive). I argued for about five minutes. They then said that if I was so determined, I should come... I decided against it. I don't need vets who won't see me during opening hours with a seriously ill dog in an emergency. Why even have to argue? Another vet really went to the trouble of finding the problem (contrast dye). The dog is on the mend. Never again will I go to that vet! Despite repeated requests, I still haven't received the requested X-rays.
