Although their opening hours state 08.00 to 19.00, note that they take a lunch break between 12.00 and 15.00. Make sure you have no emergency during that time, as they do not care about the animal's suffering and will not do anything even when the animal is in a threatening situation. They do not offer the mobile service as shown on their website. Whether when calling by phone or going there yourself, they do not help you with the issue, they also don't help you finding another vet that can assist in an emergency situation. Seeing the stranded animal doesn't move them either and you need to beg multiples times for an emergency contact to go to for them to provide you with another vet at the other side of the city that does emergencies when needed. Thank you to this other vet, but not to this one ... *** Added following the owner's feedback: Please note that if your opening hours were accurate, we wouldn't have insisted like this If you cannot take new customers or a walk-in emergency, whether it is because of your lunch break or because you already have too many clients, I totally get it ... but when someone calls in with an emergency and the animal is in danger, you can at the very first call say something like: "We cannot take you in, but for these emergencies you can call the Juppien Andrea Dr. Kleintierpraxis at the xxx number" From a vet, letting an animal in distress like this with absolutely no solution is uncalled for. We would not have called you three times if your practice wasn't listed as opened then and if you provided us an alternative path to go with. In a state of despair, we had to physically come and insist to get a solution. You basically say that only your clients have the privilege to have emergency assistance from you. How do you become a regular then, if you cannot get help in the first place? Last point, but not least, your unprofessionalism isn't only seen in the way your practice handled our entire ordeal on the moment, but also in the way you respond to negative comments.

Unfortunately, I would not recommend this practice for the treatment of wild pigeons. I've taken wood pigeons there twice now, both severely injured and partially paralyzed. Despite their poor condition, the birds were not euthanized. I then went to an avian veterinarian, where the pigeons were put down without further suffering. In one case, it turned out that the spine was completely destroyed. Based on my personal experience, I didn't feel well cared for there when it came to the treatment of severely injured wild pigeons.

My dog is always in good hands there (he's a rescue dog and quite anxious). As his owner, I can highly recommend this practice! The vet is competent and very caring. The veterinary assistants are all very friendly and know what they're doing!
