Great, that a place like this exists. We found a young swift, that wasn't able to fly yet, in our garden, and were very happy to bring it there and hand it over to people that care.

Amazing place! Thank you so much to everyone who works here and runs it. I took a common swift who crash landed on the road and they took her in. Gave us a case number so we could follow up on her too. The staff was super friendly and also spoke English which really helped. Thank you!
We found a swift in our old attic in Kassel that was weakened because it couldn't get out. After speaking with Ms. Haupt, we received valuable advice on how to transport it safely to Frankfurt. It's no wonder this station won the animal welfare award. They are very professionally cared for by a veterinarian who can also provide medical treatment for the animals. Thank you so much for your help! It's wonderful that such volunteers still exist.
