Reviews
I took my dog Theo to the emergency veterinary clinic in Mülheim on Easter Saturday 2026 and am truly grateful for the quick and competent help. Both the veterinarian and the veterinary assistant were extremely friendly, empathetic, and highly competent. They took plenty of time, explained everything clearly, and treated Theo with great care. In a stressful situation, you feel completely at ease there. Thank you so much for the excellent care – highly recommended!
I am very grateful for the quick and competent help I received from this practice. Veterinarian Rakha, in particular, made an excellent impression—calm, empathetic, and at the same time, absolutely professional. You can immediately tell that the animals' well-being is truly important to him. My pet was examined thoroughly, and everything was explained clearly, so I felt very well cared for in that situation. This is incredibly reassuring, especially in an emergency. The entire team was also very friendly. The younger veterinary assistants, in particular, were exceptionally kind and dedicated, which further enhanced the positive impression. I can wholeheartedly recommend this practice!
I had an appointment for a check-up, so it wasn't an emergency. A man we didn't know turned out to be a veterinarian, even though he hadn't introduced himself. He had no prior contact with my young dog. We were five people in the very small examination room, and my nearly 40 kg dog was supposed to be lifted onto a bare metal table. Since he panics on slippery surfaces, I refused further treatment. I don't understand why, but I don't want my dog to panic before every future visit. This practice lacks sensitivity, and perhaps also competence. Dr. Benner wasn't present, which I hadn't expected anyway.
We took our kitten to the emergency vet because it was vomiting and had diarrhea. They didn't listen to us properly and gave us a completely wrong and negligent diagnosis. When we got a second opinion in Asterlagen, the little one had to be admitted to the hospital immediately. We paid over €200 for this ordeal.
I would give even more stars if I could. Great practice, both the reception staff and the veterinarian, Mr. Rahka, himself. He was so gentle with my cats; his calm manner in treating them was reassuring. I highly recommend this practice for Saturday evening emergencies!! Thank you so much!
