Great practice, lovely team! As always seems to happen, my dog usually gets injured late at night or on weekends! 🫨 My Tammy, an eight-year-old Flat-Coated Retriever, was running through the park like a bat out of hell, so far so normal. On the way home, I noticed she was favoring her right paw. She wouldn't let me look, so I kept an eye on her. At first, she was walking normally again. The next morning (Saturday), she was limping again, so I checked, and she had injured her dewclaw. So I got on the phone, but of course, the regular practice was closed for the weekend. I reached the Ruhrblick practice at 10:30 and explained that it would take me about 20 minutes to get there. The practice closes at 11:00 on Saturdays. Nevertheless, they let us in. Naturally, because of the traffic, it took us 35 minutes, so it was already 11:05! Despite this, without a word of warning, they still saw us even though there were three patients ahead of us! My little drama queen howled and whined the whole place down, starting in the waiting room, of course!!! 😅🤣 Tammy was treated professionally and lovingly. We were the last ones that Saturday, and even though the practice should have been closed for the weekend long ago, Tammy was treated patiently, with great care and delicious treats until 12:30 pm!!! THANK YOU!!! 🌹 This meant I didn't have to pay an exorbitant weekend rate!!! I've definitely had different experiences! 🤔
