In my opinion, the best vet in the area. Very friendly, truly caring about the well-being of the animals, excellent with them, and all at fair prices. I'd also like to commend the nurses. They have amazing hands and know how to calm the animals. Top-notch!

Here, a veterinarian and her assistant take the necessary time for each animal patient, providing competent and empathetic care and treatment. I can wholeheartedly recommend them.

I've been going to Dr. Scholz ever since I got my first pet. She's a very competent veterinarian who isn't always quick to prescribe strong medications. It's clear that the well-being of each of her four-legged patients is of paramount importance to her. Dr. Scholz does extensive reading and research to ensure she does exactly the right, or rather, the best possible thing for her patients (I now own ferrets, and because they're rare, it's not always easy).

The competent veterinarian and her friendly team take their time with the animals. After the examination, they provide a thorough explanation and then treat the animal. We are very satisfied.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them for sick rabbits and tax security. Anyone with a rabbit exhibiting noticeable issues with its hind legs (stiffness before walking, unsteady gait, feeling like partial paralysis) should consider consulting a different veterinarian. In our case, rheumatism was assumed without a reliable diagnosis, and the high probability of EC (Encephalitozoon cuniculi) was completely ignored. A rapid test could have ruled out EC, and if not, preventative treatment for EC could have been administered, which is relatively harmless for the animal. AI (Copilot) provides clear guidance when symptoms are entered. For us, this guidance came too late because we trusted the vet without doing our own research. When the disease fully developed many weeks later, despite all our efforts, we unfortunately had no chance of saving our little darling. Even during this phase, the treatment, in retrospect, was quite controversial and not optimally supported (B vitamins, etc.). Available now, we believe the treatment was questionable and not optimally supported (e.g., with the lack of B vitamins). Furthermore, I would advise against paying in cash at this practice, as this at least facilitates tax evasion, since you don't receive a receipt and the money can disappear somewhere! Finally, to be honest, what you receive as a receipt isn't a receipt at all, not one that adheres to any standard. Two out of two alternative doctors in the district couldn't read our "receipts," not even figure out which medication he had been prescribed. Unfortunately, it was a very sad experience for us, especially with a potentially so experienced doctor. The seemingly pointless loss weighs heavily on us and still hurts a lot. 😔
