A very friendly veterinarian. He always has a listening ear and is incredibly loving towards my Yorkshire Terrier. I always enjoy going to him because I know he's very kind. There are waiting times, yes, but I think that's perfectly normal. A lovely building with a nice waiting area. Very convenient opening hours for working people.
I've been taking my rabbits to the Milling veterinary practice for vaccinations and neutering for several years now. I'm very satisfied. The prices here are still very fair. The waiting time is sometimes a bit annoying, as they don't offer any more appointments.
We visited this vet for the first time today and were delighted. Our sick cat received wonderful care. We hope she gets well soon.
A very unfriendly and annoyed veterinarian. He had no interest in being on call or interacting with his patients. You're treated like you're on an assembly line, and his gentleness towards the animals is nonexistent. Luckily, I go to a different vet; I was only there for an on-call appointment. Thankfully, there are still vets who aren't annoyed by their patients. Never again.
On February 28, 2026, around 1:00 a.m., my 13-year-old Beagle, Yuna SN, started panting heavily and breathing rapidly. I looked up the emergency animal service number, 01805843736, and called. Unfortunately, only the answering machine picked up and redirected me to another emergency veterinary service/veterinarian (Corinna Wappler, Hauptstraße 89, 08134 Langenweißbach). No one answered the phone there! So I googled for other veterinarians or emergency services. Unfortunately, I had no luck. I called the police and asked for help. They gave me two more emergency numbers, but I couldn't reach anyone there either. Meanwhile, my Beagle's condition worsened. My mother also came from Eibenstock to Johanngeorgenstadt to help me. ] ... We called countless emergency veterinary services, including our usual one! Still nothing! Eventually, I got a vet on the phone, but she just referred me to the emergency number! So we called that one again, still nothing! I called that vet again (Justyna Eule, Kunnersbachstrasse 1a, 08359 Breitenbrunn/Erzgebirge) and asked for help. She refused, saying, and I quote, "Go to Chemnitz. I can't keep helping just because others can't!" I had my phone on speakerphone so my mother could hear. I tried calling other vets again. One answered and said she wasn't in and couldn't help. With all the others, I only got an answering machine or a long ring. ... Early in the morning, I managed to reach the vet, Mr. Claus Milling from Oelsnitz, who initially refused to help because it was too far (52 kg by car according to Google!). Only after I threatened him with legal action in desperation did he reluctantly agree to come. However, he arrived far too late (almost 2 hours and 30 minutes from Oelsnitz to Johanngeorgenstadt! According to Google, the drive only took 52 minutes!). As a result, my 13-year-old beagle died in agony! She suffered and tormented for a full 8 hours! 8 hours! She could have been saved, or at least relieved of her suffering, if the emergency animal service had done what it was supposed to do: save an animal in acute distress!
