We had to find a vet on Saturday because our beloved cat Wilbur had injured himself outside during the night. It was a shock when we called the on-call vet for that weekend in Zwickau. The first thing they told us on the phone was that it would cost at least €250. How empathetic can a doctor be?! 😬 We found this great address online with consultation hours on Saturday mornings. We received immediate and excellent help. Our little darling is now resting from all the excitement and recovering from his injury. And all for a fraction of the aforementioned amount. Many thanks to the very kind veterinarian!
So far I am completely satisfied and since Dr. Junghans in Lugau is no longer there, I have been going to Dr. Richter and have never been dissatisfied with the treatment of my dogs and cats.
The veterinarian who works for Dr. Richter works without an assistant. Firstly, as I've learned from other vets, this isn't permitted, and secondly, in my case, my cat was in pain while having her temperature taken and resisted, jumping off the examination table. She injured herself very badly as a result. This trauma caused her health to deteriorate month by month, and last Friday we had no choice but to have her euthanized. I would no longer recommend choosing a veterinarian for your beloved pet who doesn't have an assistant. Perhaps she could still be alive today. If you love your pet, go to a veterinarian who has at least one assistant. Do it for your pet.
I strongly advise everyone against taking their pets to this "veterinarian." Our French Bulldog had been under her care for about two years. Two weeks ago, he died of acute kidney failure, which was never mentioned during that time. Blood samples were sent to a lab, but there was no analysis of the results, nor any confirmation that the blood test results were available. We only found out when we received the bill. Absolutely not recommended. Our dog would have been much better cared for at another veterinarian nearby. There, they work meticulously and with dedication.
For over 40 years, they've been our go-to dog breeder for our six dogs, and we're still very happy with his wife. Thank you, Ernst, for all your help and consistently excellent care! 💪👍
