Unfortunately, he didn't make a diagnosis using blood tests (prevention instead of treatment). Actually, he doesn't make diagnoses, only guesses. You're not asked or informed about what he's planning to do... he just does what he thinks is right there in a hurry. And he does it very quickly, so the next patient can come in. ;( It's a shame – my cat went into shock there and was completely different after we got home. We only went for an ear mite cleaning, but what he did was throw the old cat on the scales and give her a vitamin injection without asking us beforehand if we wanted it. Even though she was healthy, our cat was doomed after this visit, and I had to have her euthanized because she suddenly couldn't walk as soon as we got home from the vet. I simply can't imagine that this wasn't related to the vet visit. Unfortunately, I definitely wouldn't go there again.
