Tierarztpraxis Dr. Kuzmits

I used to be satisfied, but now I can no longer recommend this practice. We received incorrect advice, and follow-up appointments were scheduled without any reason – just to generate costs, even though no services were provided. This was completely unnecessary for us and only caused my pet unnecessary stress. Very disappointing and no longer trustworthy.

We will not be returning to this practice. Despite a clear phone call regarding the neutering of our 6-month-old male cat and the description of obvious signs of sexual maturity (roaming, strong odor from his rear end), it was not clearly communicated that the appointment was not for neutering, but merely a brief preliminary examination. We had already corrected an incorrectly recorded date of birth, yet this was later presented as a problem again. Our cat had fasted for 12 hours in anticipation of the surgery, a fact that was neither mentioned nor taken into account at the appointment. Instead of surgery, Dr. Kallinger performed only a very brief standard examination, after which she referred us, without comment, to the reception desk to schedule an appointment for the neutering. No attempt at accommodation, an apology, or even a factual explanation for the misunderstanding was made. Dr. Kallinger's casual remark that surgeries were only performed in the mornings was subsequently presented as "common knowledge," even though this had not been communicated beforehand. The night after the appointment, our cat vomited due to stress. This was not due to overfeeding – we were careful to feed him appropriately and in a controlled manner after the fast. The medical examination itself was unremarkable, however, the organization, communication, and handling of the situation were unprofessional. This approach is unacceptable to us, and we will not be using this practice again. My parents, who have been clients of Dr. Kuzmits directly for many years, are now also considering switching veterinary practices, even though they could hardly believe what happened. They have always been clients of Dr. Kuzmits directly, and she has always behaved correctly and professionally. My negative experiences are expressly directed only at the organization and Dr. Kallinger.

We've been taking our two Chihuahuas to Dr. Kuzmits for many years and everything is simply fantastic. Highly recommended. Thank you!
