My husband called Dr. Paulitsch at 6:30 this morning because our cat was very ill. According to the information he received, Dr. Paulitsch was on call. After asking my husband four times who was answering and still not understanding the name, my husband tried to explain how our cat was behaving. Unfortunately, he was then interrupted with the words, "And that's why you're calling so early!" Very disappointing. We then called a veterinarian who has been taking care of our cat since 8:00 a.m. – incidentally, she is NOT on call, and we were able to come immediately!

Inspiring and expirienced veterinarian!
I read the review and felt compelled to share my impressions of Dr. Paulitsch's work: I found a young stallion from our open stable this morning with a heavily bleeding laceration on his neck, directly behind his right muzzle. Dr. Paulitsch sutured both the blood vessels and the hanging flesh with utmost professionalism. Today, you can't even see the scar. The young Andalusian had apparently stepped on a long, sharp object while playing in the open-air stable and sat backward. It was severely torn open and bled profusely. Dr. Paulitsch sedated him, and although access to the injury was very difficult (an assistant had to constantly hold his hind leg up), he sutured the deep injury precisely, and there were no delays in the healing process. Dr. Paulitsch trimmed our young Andalusian stallion. Although the stallion reared and bucked after a night in solitary confinement (he was not allowed to eat for 24 hours before being sedated), the veterinarian was finally able to sedate him with his calm, firm, and professional manner. The procedure went smoothly.
If I could give 0 stars, I would! We had an old Shetland pony with colic. Unfortunately, my regular vet was tied up. (Sunday - emergency) The pony is an anxious patient and needs to be treated with a lot of calm, otherwise she'll start rearing, although with her size she couldn't hurt anyone, and she'll eventually stop when she runs out of energy. (There are no problems with my regular vet.) Of course, they didn't treat her calmly at all; instead, they insulted the pony. We were also told several times why we didn't have a man on site because, as women, we couldn't hold the pony!? She was finally sedated despite the colic (two follow-up injections!) and lay motionless on the ground for almost an hour! However, if you can sedate her twice, then giving the right medication once will also work! And every horse owner knows: sedation impairs bowel function and circulation! The way the injections were administered to a patient with anxiety was also an absolute disgrace! My pony had swelling on her neck for two days! Furthermore, the neck was clipped next to the vein, instead of directly at the vein, to inject the medication... In the end, they charged €450 for a completely unprofessional and unsatisfactory treatment! This also had to be paid immediately and in cash! The invoice was also misspelled: - wrong breed - wrong age!! I've had emergencies with my horses before, but never have I paid so much for so little medication and so little knowledge! I was also advised to give her beet pulp (great for colic and laminitis patients) and not to feed her for 24 hours. Furthermore, my pony got colic again the next day. Thanks to the quick and competent help of my regular vet, she's doing very well again!
