Dr. Bernhard Loer

Dr. Loer is a very friendly and empathetic veterinarian who truly cares about the animals' well-being. He is highly competent, not just as an equine vet. He even follows up the day after treatment to check if everything is okay. I have only positive things to say about him and highly recommend him.

Unfortunately, I live too far away, otherwise Mr. Loer would be the veterinarian for my new horse, whom he examined before I bought it. He's knowledgeable and highly recommended.

A very helpful, friendly, and competent vet! I was last a client of Dr. Loer 16 years ago, and now I'm back in the region with a new horse. He's still a top-notch doctor and person. He welcomed me in the emergency room, gave me excellent advice, and then treated my horse and gave me comprehensive advice. I'm completely satisfied and grateful that there are still relaxed, friendly, and competent vets here.

The best. High level of expertise in many areas, open to new medical developments and findings. Recognizable by his dark sense of humor. A passionate horse doctor. Dislikes: the silly half-knowledge of horse owners, horse people who starve their horses based on dubious feed advisors. Knows where the line between life and suffering lies.

Mr. Loer has been caring for my mare for many years, has always helped us competently, and his prices are fair. Just last year, he saved my mare's life and quickly and correctly diagnosed a dramatic intestinal displacement, allowing us to get to the clinic in time. Unfortunately, I don't understand the two negative reviews at all. Perhaps some people didn't hear what they wanted to hear... He is very sensitive with horses, very honest, and doesn't beat around the bush. I highly recommend him.
