Reviews
Beware of this. You can ask anyone in Neu-Isenburg about it; this vet is simply a clown. The good reviews are probably written by friends and family. I've spoken to several pet owners in the last few days. You only have to mention her name and people shake their heads.
Dr. Brabänder is an excellent and highly competent veterinarian! She treats and advises with the animals' best interests at heart. We greatly appreciate her honest advice! She is extremely dedicated when animals are ill. She has a natural affinity for animals and is always there for them first and foremost! I've had dogs for almost 25 years and have consulted several veterinarians. She is by far the best. Her sister is also very friendly, empathetic, and professional.
Caution. I took my cat to the vet for diarrhea. Although I mentioned his kidney condition, I was given antibiotics that shouldn't be given if he has poor kidney function. After giving my cat a pill, he had an epileptic seizure due to his kidney disease, which the vet didn't recognize during a second visit. She mistook my cat for a stroke or heart attack. The cat had three more epileptic seizures and, despite a visit to the animal hospital after the second seizure, had to be euthanized the following morning. A cat died because this same vet gave him medication he shouldn't have taken.
Dr. Brabänder has been caring for the fourth generation of dogs with us for several years. This included a litter of six, meaning she has provided veterinary care for some of our male and female dogs from birth to death. We particularly appreciate that, in the interest of the animals' long-term health, she doesn't immediately resort to chemical treatment and that she has a sympathetic ear and sound advice for our animal concerns and needs, even beyond medical matters. She is assisted by a truly experienced, conscientious, and friendly practice assistant. We and our dog are truly in good hands there – thank you!
