Reviews
Dörte is definitely in the wrong job. I paid €70 for her not to touch my dog and to tell me from two meters away that I should hold him still, hold his head still. She didn't even properly look at the wound and recommended that I go to the vet where my dog is actually being treated. This veterinary practice is the absolute worst. How can a vet not greet the animal? Not even pet it? My family doctor would probably have taken better care of my dog.
One star is even too generous. Anyone having problems with their guinea pig should seek out a different veterinarian. Our experience was extremely disappointing. When our female guinea pig could no longer move her hind legs, we visited this veterinary practice. Unfortunately, we weren't allowed into the examination room, so we can't confirm the examination. After the examination, the vet administered two injections and said that if the situation didn't improve in 2-3 days, the animal should be euthanized, as it would otherwise suffer. After 3-4 days, she still couldn't move her legs, but it seemed as if she was slowly regaining strength. A week later, she was able to walk normally again. On May 3rd, we consulted a different veterinarian because the animal hadn't been eating for several days and had an eye infection. The vet suspected a problem with her bladder or uterus, which was probably also the reason she couldn't move her legs. Unfortunately, we had to have the animal euthanized today as it no longer had the strength. It's possible that Ms. Jacobsen lacks the necessary experience with guinea pigs or that she didn't examine the animal thoroughly.
I wonder how people here can claim that the doctor was very kind to their own animal.... Because with Ms. Jacobsen the owner of the animal is not allowed into the treatment room but has to wait outside until the treatment is finished!!! So I can neither understand if and how she treated the animal, nor whether my animal felt comfortable there...!!! Apparently it's all done like this because of Corona... 😂😂But I've never experienced anything like this at any vet before... Only one person is allowed in the waiting room, everyone else has to stand outside in the brisk hallway... Crammed together with their animals in three square meters.... Funny story, the Corona measures are really having an effect... So I will not go there anymore because I do not want to subject my animal to such discriminatory treatment... Let's see how long my review lasts, because negative reviews often get deleted!!!
We were helped quickly because we didn't have a vet, but ultimately, they just told us to put a sock over the spot. It was below the cat's neck, and the sock didn't help at all. We called again and were told, yes, the sock would help. The bottom line is, the cat got two new spots. New vet, good treatment, spots gone. Really disappointed.
One star is already too much. You have to wait outside in the narrow, drafty stairwell. They take your pet from you and don't allow you to go in. My cat has never been in such a bad condition after general anesthesia; it was beyond frightening. They were unfriendly when I asked for medical food and gave me food that had expired four years ago. It's an absolute disgrace and irresponsible.
