Pretty heartless. Yesterday my rat was dying and I desperately tried to reach any vet because mine wasn't available. I wanted to have him euthanized so he wouldn't suffer. When the doctor answered and I asked him, crying, he just said he wasn't responsible for small animals. I had another question, whether he knew of anyone, an emergency service or anything, but he just said "okay, bye" and cut me off, meaning he hung up.
