I called in the morning and was told there were no appointments left, but since my rat was poorly and needed help, they told me to come in anyway and wait. I arrived and while I waited for the receptionist's time, my rat, who was in pain due to trombosis, bit me really hard, which made me cry and almost go into a panic attack because I was so worried about him. I bled all over their waiting room and they were very understanding and helpful. I was allowed to see the vet immediately. They had to put my rat down and the doctor explained everything, explained why it was necessary, was very nice, and told me to go see a human doctor immediately for the bite. Basically, I was a mess, an emergency, and a foreigner, and they were friendly, sympathetic, and accommodating. It's all a person can hope for in such a situation.

Sadly, we had to have our cat "Momo" put to sleep because she was very ill. Dr. Büchele accompanied our beloved Momo (13 years old) on her final journey with great empathy, patience, and professionalism. Even during her illness, he always took plenty of time for her, provided excellent care, and explained everything to us. Thank you so much for that. A veterinarian with a heart.
