Yesterday was our first visit to Dr. Röhm. Our dog had been treated by him before. He went to Dr. Röhm's practice voluntarily. I've never experienced such empathy.
I'm very satisfied with Mr. Röhm. If you have questions, he takes the time to answer them thoroughly. In emergencies, you receive immediate attention, even if it means working overtime. My dog had a tooth extraction and cleaning done there, among other things, with perfect results. I have complete confidence in him and am glad that Mr. Röhm has his practice nearby.
I went to Dr. Röhm today. I have a very cautious dog, but I have to admit Dr. Röhm did a really great job. He's really old school, says things exactly as he thinks, and you have to be able to deal with that. It was a bit difficult for me the first time, but you have to get through it.
I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Mr. Röhm and his entire team. We have two kittens who, since their first heat, have been scratching themselves indiscriminately, sometimes almost down to the bone. Both even had to wear cones because of the extreme scratching. For months, we visited the most well-known veterinarians in Reutlingen, but NONE could help us, neither a clinic nor a regular practice. We told every vet the same thing: the problems have existed since their first heat, and that's precisely why we wanted to have them spayed. But we were never listened to. Instead, we were constantly told off: it wouldn't make any sense at all. They suggested everything from parasites to tumors (none of which were true). In some cases, we were even prescribed things that are absolutely unjustified for such young kittens (they were just over a year old at the time), including sedatives and similar medications. All these procedures dragged on for four long months and cost us over €2,000 in total, not least because many vets charge for even the smallest thing (€30 for shaving a tiny area, for example). This time was an unbearable burden for us. The worst part was how much our cats suffered. Every vet visit was pure stress for them, and yet things never improved. They had to wear the cones the entire time, and we also spent many sleepless nights because the constant scratching at the cone just wouldn't stop. It was mentally and physically exhausting, for our animals and for us. Honestly, this experience is so deeply ingrained that even now, we're terrified of a relapse at the slightest scratch. It's become like a trauma. But slowly, we're starting to worry less because nothing bad has happened since, and everything has worked out. Out of sheer desperation, we finally took matters into our own hands and specifically asked veterinarians we hadn't yet visited about neutering. This led us to contact Mr. Röhm, among others, whose price was significantly lower than all the others. We got an appointment incredibly quickly, along with a brief check-up and a direct, honest assessment from Mr. Röhm, and then the go-ahead. With Mr. Röhm, we finally felt truly heard. The price was incredibly humane and more than fair. The neutering procedure went completely smoothly without any complications. The aftercare until the wounds healed was also excellent! Overall, appointments were quick and easy, no unnecessary fuss, just direct and friendly service. For the first time in six months, both cats are free from scratching, without cones, AND WITHOUT WOUNDS! Mr. Röhm has fulfilled our dream and given our cats back their quality of life. We are incredibly grateful and highly recommend him!
I've been a patient of Dr. Röhm for 12 years with my cats. I'm extremely satisfied. He's very calm and patient with the animals. My cats are quiet around him and let him do anything he says. He simply has a way with animals. He explains what he's doing and answers all questions. I highly recommend him.
