We managed to get an appointment at short notice. He examined our Sardinian street cat thoroughly and felt it best to leave her alone for a while and let her regain her strength. Her blood work had improved, and she'd been dewormed. He saw no reason to continue treating her. A perfect assessment. So we followed his advice, and lo and behold: she's grown into a magnificent cat! 😺
We'd already taken our cat to several vets, but no one could properly diagnose the problem – until we came to this practice. The vet was not only very friendly but also finally made the correct diagnosis. Thanks to him, our cat will hopefully be feeling better soon. Appointments are easy to get and you feel well cared for. Highly recommended!
A very friendly vet with great opening hours! So far, we've been able to get an appointment for both visits within a few days, and he takes the time to answer all our questions. Our rescue dog was wonderfully comfortable with the examination, and the vaccination went perfectly. Thank you! 🙏🏼
The vet was friendly. I went to see him because my dachshund had torn his back paw and it was bleeding. I went on Friday afternoon, and he was holding regular office hours. I was on vacation in Bad Aibling and was desperately looking for help. And I did get some. The vet simply put a bandage on my dachshund, without disinfecting or using antibiotics. He told me to see my regular vet on Monday to have the paw checked again. The bandage cost me a whopping 73 euros! I think that's far too expensive! When I asked to take some bandages with me, he told me to go to the nearest pharmacy. He didn't have enough supplies on site—a vet, really?!
The only positive thing I can say about Dr. Burkhard is that he offers Saturday appointments as an alternative to the veterinary clinic. But I just can't get along with him on a personal level. He constantly makes rude comments and I find his remarks presumptuous and often inappropriate. He's definitely not my vet of choice.
