A vet with a heart. No unnecessary waiting times, so no stress for my dog, who is very anxious. Ms. Wirth has excellent observation skills, which always impresses me. She treats calmly and explains everything thoroughly. A wonderful vet in my opinion.

One star is far too generous. I will never set foot in that practice again. I felt sorry for my cat for days afterward because Ms. Wirth was so rough with her during the examination. I told her so myself. She talks so much that a layperson can't understand much. And the worst part was the bill. It was so exorbitant. I felt like she was exploiting the situation to make as much money as possible. I've never experienced anything like it. Absolutely awful!

⸻ I've been taking all my animals to Dr. Barbara Wirth for over 15 years and have always been completely satisfied. She is an exceptionally sensitive and empathetic veterinarian – both towards animals and people. Her calm, loving manner immediately inspires trust, and she always takes the time to observe carefully and work meticulously. She also handles my difficult dachshund wonderfully – with great patience, understanding, and a real knack for it. I always feel like I'm in the best hands with her. Her tips and ideas have always been very helpful for me and my animals. A heartfelt thank you also goes to Ms. Wiede, who always greets us warmly and kindly. A fantastic team with heart and expertise – highly recommended!

The vet and her colleagues have great respect and a real heart for animals, even the smallest ones, like our guinea pig, who received excellent care and is on the mend. 🙂 Thank you for the wonderful treatment and the detailed explanations of the diagnosis and the treatment process.

Normally, I really don't like writing bad reviews, but since it concerns our beloved dog, I can't help myself: Two weeks ago, with a very heavy heart, we contacted Dr. Wirth because our 16 1/2-year-old Pekingese-Dachshund mix had been suffering terribly in the days leading up to it. Up until then, her health hadn't been perfect, but we hadn't noticed such terrible, persistent suffering. But then the dog was truly in agony, limping and whimpering in pain day and night... Since she had also (obviously) deteriorated significantly over the past year and was now deaf, blind, and showing signs of dementia, we decided to schedule a home visit (because otherwise she wouldn't let us pick her up and started snapping in panic) to end her suffering. ... First, Ms. Wirth wanted to assess the situation herself (which is commendable for a veterinarian), but the way she phrased it (via email, mind you) was quite inappropriate: she suggested we try medication first, that it could be a heart problem, and that there were dogs who had lived to be 20 or older – as if saying goodbye to a beloved pet wasn't hard enough for the owner, and then you have to listen to such nonsense from profit-driven outsiders... After a few days of painkillers (surprise, surprise), and no improvement in the dog's condition, we again requested a prompt home visit and were given an appointment for Monday evening. On Monday afternoon, I received a call: she had such a severe migraine that she couldn't make the appointment (understandable, of course, and normally not a problem), but considering our suffering dog at home, for whom every extra hour meant more pain, and after she told my father on the phone that she couldn't stay on the phone even a little longer to discuss the next steps with my mother and that WE should call on Tuesday to see if SHE was feeling better, I was truly speechless! Then, on Tuesday, after OUR call, she said she still couldn't come because her car had broken down. So we contacted another vet who didn't hesitate at all; we were allowed to come in, and it was undeniably clear that the dog deserved to be put down! Days later, Ms. Wirth called again to ask for an appointment. When we told her it was no longer necessary, she "apologized," saying that it wasn't her fault her car hadn't passed its inspection on Tuesday! ^^ I've never experienced anything like this before, and I think others should know! I personally find such insensitive and irresponsible behavior unacceptable! Truly disappointing!
