Dr.med.vet. Bernhard Roth

I definitely cannot recommend her!! I had Dr. Assmann out on Monday because I discovered a splint on my horse over the weekend. He wasn't lame, there was no swelling… I just wanted to have it checked out since I was also registered for a clinic. So, x-rays were taken, and nothing was visible on the first few images, only maybe, possibly, on the last one. Dr. Assmann wanted to look at the images again on a better screen at her practice, but still decided to put my horse on stall rest for two weeks and promised to call me back to tell me whether there was anything there or not! I'm still waiting for that call! My requests for a call back are being ignored, as are my emails asking for the images!! In my opinion, this is completely unacceptable!

I called on Sunday night because my dog ​​was very ill. No emergency service was available at 11 p.m. The clinics had already closed. I'm speechless at the language he used with me. He won't treat small animals anymore. That's acceptable to me for normal treatment. I asked him what advice he could give me or what I could do. He said he couldn't help me either, and then he hung up. Such a dismissive attitude, refusing to help an animal! He would have been paid for his service. Large animals bring in more money, I know that. His empathy is only for his own profit. Small animals require more work, take more time, and don't bring in as much money as large animals. This man who calls himself a doctor gets the worst rating from me.

Unfortunately, Dr. Roth's small animal practice has been closed for some time. However, he still treats his regular clients. He currently appears to be officially practicing only as an equine veterinarian. Dr. Roth has been our first choice for well over 20 years when our animals (dogs and cats) had problems. He has profound knowledge, extensive experience, and a wonderful way with animals. We have always felt very well cared for by him. I am certain this also applies to the treatment of larger animals, and I would recommend him without hesitation.

An honest and competent veterinarian who has been supporting us for years. Even though scheduling appointments can be a bit difficult, Dr. Roth is always available in case of an emergency.

A really great and kind vet. He doesn't talk much but does everything in his power to help the animal. Thank you! 🙏❤️
