Dr. Ritscher is a fantastic veterinarian. She has so much knowledge and always looks at every case from a different perspective. If she doesn't know what to do, she refers you immediately.
We were there today with my mother's cat and at first thought it was the wrong address. The property looks like it's been abandoned for 25 years. We were just about to leave when the woman suddenly came out. We were very surprised. 😲. She has very good knowledge, is friendly, and treated the cat well. However, she urgently needs help with the house, yard, and hygiene!
A veterinarian with heart and soul, passed down through generations. Here, minor ailments for our four-legged friends can be treated, whether it's antibiotics or earaches, and you'll receive excellent advice based on extensive experience. Major surgeries are not performed. I am amazed by the profound knowledge of this lovely older lady.
We took our 12-week-old puppy to this veterinary clinic and ended up fleeing the examination room. The entire practice was very unkempt and dirty. The vet showed absolutely no interest in our puppy's symptoms (diarrhea and ear problems). Without even looking at or examining the dog, she simply stated that it was due to the food. Our dog was neither greeted nor acknowledged. Furthermore, we were told to enter the vaccinations ourselves, even though the vaccination record wasn't even checked. It seemed as if they just wanted to administer "something" without any prior examination or explanation. The vet also stated that she couldn't grip or see properly. These statements were extremely worrying and reinforced the overall impression of a very unprofessional environment. While we were in the examination room, the vet took a phone call and talked on it for about 30 minutes while we waited. We consider this behavior completely unprofessional and irresponsible – especially with such a young puppy. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this practice.
